You can drive with them !!

I deliver propane in a ski town in Colorado. In and out of the truck, from ice, glossy hard snow to massive powder snow. These are the best, you don’t need something with chains, chains are for tires! All day, everyday light, no slop, low profile with the perfect amount of grip. Hardly noticeable by others when worn. Stop dancing like a ballerina on the slick!

Grips well on ice but grip on smooth hard concrete could be better

I was looking to replace my aging rubber and carbide pull on outdoor ice anti-slip for shoes. The carbide spikes on these work well on ice, same as what I had. The thin carbide spikes grip well, are lightweight, durable and do not grip so deep that they create a tripping hazard walking about town and shopping. (Never wear them inside homes. Like all good ice grips, they grip into wood and linoleum floors to create damage.) Ribber stretches onto shoes well, but can be a struggle to put on compared to strap-on models. A nice plus is two spare replacement spikes, although I have never had those wear out. My chief negative is in comparison to older designs no longer sold. The older grips I was replacing had rubber fin grip soles around the spikes that folded down to enhance penetration of ice grip on ice, yet aided snow grip. Most importantly, that old style rubber grip worked well on smooth hard concrete. The rubber tread of this new model purchase does grip somewhat on hard smooth concrete (like in Walmart), but not ideal. Spikes can still be a slip hazard on smooth hard surface which they cannot penetrate.

Snow cleats

Great for ice and snow!

Much safer walking with these on.

I like to walk to work, but in winter it can be risky. These cleats are perfect, and during a heavy snow day where it would have been a danger to drive, I walked on the plowed streets and never slipped, which my car would have done ! Got my exercise, and did not miss work. Happy.

won't fit boots.

I got these for use with winter much boots . Much too small. Would comfortably fit tennis shoes, no boots.

I Feel Safe Out There

This Fall I bought a Golden Doodle pup. I was very concerned about walking her in the winter here in North Dakota because there’s always going to be ice out there. I’m too old and too big to be picking myself up off the ice any more. So I thought I’d try these. I’ve walked over some pretty slick areas and didn’t even have a hint of skidding. In fact I think I have more of a chance mis-stepping walking over snow where I can’t see what’s below than on ice.

No-Slip Snow Overshoes

waste of time and money

These ice grips are described as size Medium. That should fit me, I am size 8 - 81/2 U.S. But they are so tiny that there is no way of attaching them to a shoe or boot. Complete waste of time and money ordering these. They should at least describe the sizes correctly.

Does the job

Used for a week in Norway, temperatures low as -12 The spikes grip on most conditions including sheet ice. The fit isn’t perfect for walking boots as the front rubber rand is semi circular and leave it gapping a bit around the cap of the boot ( probably better fit for industrial work boots and wellies) but they stayed on in all conditions. Only 2 spare spikes. Done the job, no issues.
