Pretty sturdy, although a bit flimsy but definitely helpful !!

So superior to regular crutches
Bought these prior to going in for knee surgery. I remember the last few times I had to go in for leg or knee surgery, and those traditional crutches they gave you were worthless. So I scoured Amazon to find for a set of crutches that had wrist reinforcement straps/rings, and found this Drive Medical Forearm crutch. It was reasonably priced against much of the competition, and when it arrived, I was surprised to find a very sturdy and well-constructed set of crutches. More so, however, these provide the wrist and arm support that one may need when navigating with crutches, and they are comfortable and not awkward at all. I'm glad I got these...

Get these ones not their evil twin
These crutches are the best! If you are considering between these and the others that look identical, pick these. These have a 300 lb limit the others have 250, I hv put many miles on my crutches and have never had them fail even when I was pushing the weight limit on uneven ground. These have the right size cuffs the others are comically large, this is important so the crutches hang from your arm when you let go of the handle to use your hands. The grips on these have slight give that is comfortable the others are hard plastic, both will require a cushion or gloves to protect from blisters if one is going long distances. I hv used these crutches for three years and they have done great. I still trust my pair from years ago, there is some rust and wear and tear on the cuffs, I use them for my mobility so I figured it’s smart to hv a good backup. Be aware, The tips are going to need to be replaced if you depend on the crutches for mobility. I live on sharp rocks so these crutch tips wear out super fast. The answer is tornado tips or anything by Thomas Fetterman they are expensive but are the only ones that really last and don’t get slippery.

Secure feel, adjustable, lightweight
Secure feel and adjustable while lightweight. These are the key benefits to me of these crutches. Because of threaded sleeves eliminating free play, these crutches don't rattle. Instead, they are quiet compared to most crutches and have little to no free play. The vinyl coated steel that wraps around the upper forearm is adjustable. Some people might think otherwise because it requires more effort than a weakened person may be able to employ, but it can be adjusted to fit snuggly. I like mine to be loose enough that my forearms are squeezed, but tight enough that the gap left by them not forming a complete circle is small enough to prevent my wrists from slipping out when I let go of the hand grips and raise my hands overhead (this latter adjustment was at the advice of my physical therapist. I have walked up to two miles using the crutches as an aid to prevent falls while I learn to walk with a prosthetic leg. The crutches work well for this purpose because they are light. I have standard under the armpit crutches. I got forearm crutches because they provide more mobility. They are especially handy when walking on irregular surfaces like one encounters when walking in parks and in the woods or countryside. I have a wheelchair, walker, underarm crutches, forearm crutches, trekking poles and a prosthesis. Most of the time I use forearm crutches for the outdoors or as an aid to reduce weight on my remaining knee when I walk up and down stairs. It is extremely difficult to use underarm crutches on irregular or sloped surfaces; this is where forearm crutches shine. I prefer underarm crutches when I am not wearing the prosthetic leg because that type of crutch is less wobbly for me when bearing my full weight entirely on the crutches. One should understand that I am overweight, so even though I have moderate upper body strength and score high on balance test, I nevertheless feel less arm strain when using underarm crutches. In short, forearm crutches increase mobility, especially on irregular terrain, while underarm crutches deliver a more secure gait on flat surfaces. I don't like how hard the plastic is for the handgrips but this problem is easily addressed by using padded handgrip covers that are manufactured for the purpose (I used them on my walker and switched to my forearm crutches) and sold on Amazon.

Really good
Sturdy and nice. The vinyl though is very sticky and the hand drips definitely need padding. I ordered hand padding and padding for the forearm part and they are fantastic now

OK, I guess
Pros- Very adjustable Cons- Hard cuff Couldn't get these to work around my forearm. Cuff was not right size and was uncomfortable. Had to return.

make sure you don't want to return these before you order them
this is a well made sturdy product. the one problem is if you try to return it. I ordered these and realized within a few hours that these were not going to work for me. I tried to do a return and the message came up that I could not return them but to call for a refund. Which I did only to be told I couldn't get my money back. After a firm conversation I was able to get my money back but it should have been noted that this product was non refundable on the product listing

Strong and good quality
I got these to try fore-arm crutches after the grip handles in my under-arm ones broke their inserts after 20 years of off and on use. Unfortunately, I've managed to sprain and bust my left ankle and foot several times during my lifetime which is why I keep a pair of crutches around the house. I decided to try these fore-arm crutches after my latest injury, but after a week, I just couldn't get used to them. It's not so much the fault of these particular crutches, though. They are very well made and look like they would easily outlast the aluminum under-arm crutches I got long ago. They are noticeably heavier, though, than my old, aluminum under-arm crutches. Someone else mentioned that the rubber grip leaves their hands with a weird smell. I noticed the same thing with mine. I also noticed blisters in the palms of my hand after using them for a week, but I think that's more from my lack of practice with these type of crutches. I suppose if you're used to fore-arm crutches, that may not be a problem. All in all, they appear to be a very good, well-made, high quality and strong crutch. They just aren't for me since I've gotten so used to under-arm crutches after all these years. I'll keep them as spares, though. One other thing, the vendor shipped these very fast and they were packed well, so very pleased with that.

Be careful with these, not secure
The height buttons keep pushing in which results in the crutch dropping down to the lowest height, I have a broken leg and have fallen twice due to this issue. I have an old set of other brand forearm crutches and have never had this issue

Excellent product
Graduated from a cane to these crutches... even though I mostly use just one it vastly improved my balance, I was able to get rid of my immobilizer brace on my right leg. Probably is a problem for people with large forearms but works just great for me. Very sturdy construction, I have no problem in recommending this product.

The plastic coating on the cuff is coming apart.
I was very happy to have found these crutches as they were exactly what I was looking for. But, I am very disappointed with this product. They seemed sturdy enough but the plastic coating is coming apart on the cuffs..... bad... very bad....

Sturdy
I bought these but don't think they are really what I need going to donate them to a charity. But from what I have experienced they seem to me to be quite sturdy.

Everything I expected except I can't adjust the cuffs to fit my forearm properly. One I was able to squeeze enough to hold in my forearm if I let go of the handle but I cannot close the other one. I'ved even set it on the floor and tried to gently put my weight on it but still it wouldn't work. That's how I got the other one to close enough to fit my firearm. The rubber coated metal should be more flexible for adjustments.
