Doesn't last long
The only problem I have with these chairs is that the material does not hold up for very long. I have to get a new one every year! I have tried different manufactures and they are all the same.

Another expensive medical product
Chair was easy to assemble. It’s not super sturdy. My quadriplegic son who weighs 140 uses it and too much more weight wouldn’t be good on this chair.

Sturdy and easy transfers!
This bedside commode that doubles as a shower chair is amazing! Very sturdy design. My mother recently broke her ankles and this helped make transfers from the bed so easy as it can adjust to your bed height and then you can just slide on it.

2 years and works great!
I've had this chair for over two years now and have no complaints. I'm a paraplegic who weighs 175 lbs and get on and off it with ease. It's pretty sturdy, wobbles a little but has held up. It is finally getting some wear and tear and some rust on the screws. At this price I'll order again. Though it was only $98 two years ago, inflation....

Very satisfied!
It arrives somewhat assembled but I believe it can be changed to transfer the opposite direction by removing the back with the push buttons underneath and putting it on the opposite way then flipping the seat and metal holder bracket the opposite way. I would have preferred the arm support be available for both or either side and the arm support will only go on the side of the opening, which ever way you flip the seat the seat is by the support arm. Also the open splash guard (often used for over a toilet) will close the gap between the seat and the bucket by putting it under the seat on the bars to act as a splash guard between the seat and bucket. It's a little off shape wise but close enough that the guard goes in the bucket.You can still remove the bucket from the bottom leaving the splash guard in place. We have been using this product several times daily for over a month with the splash guard in place and have not had one splash or spill. The cushion comfort of this product is so much better than smaller two arm ones, and the extra space on the side allows room to lean or change position. We used it in the tub/shower once when there was a concern of a bathroom need while showering and the only problem was it was not as high as our tub bench. We think this is a good product my only recmmendation would be removable supports on both sides for that option.

Works great for a T-8 paraplegic like myself. I wish they would last longer but definitely not upset with quality.

High quality product.
This was easy to assemble, and seat and bench can be installed to either side. Arms are removable for easy transfer from bed to commode. Very sturdy, have used for 3 months next to bed, and 3 months in bathtub. Makes transfer from wheelchair to bench for showering. Can’t say enough good about this product.

Lightweight and stable
Lightweight and easy to assemble/disassemble which makes it perfect to take away! This is my third in 14years and I use it every day. Very happy to recommend, though I appreciate we're all looking for something a little different.

Makes life easier when foot pain makes walking impossible
We bought this for my mother when she was unable to walk to the bathroom due to severe foot pain. After trying a regular commode, which was almost impossible for her to get onto, this transfer commode was a lifesaver. So much easier, safer, and more dignified. Very glad we have this for the next time it might be needed.

Perfect for showering, exactly what we needed.
Perfect for use in a stand up shower. Easy to put together and comfortable. It was purchased for my husband following a car accident, and now that he no longer uses it, my parents have kept it for their aging hips and knees in the shower. Awesome bench.
