It worked!!!
I used tap magic and was able to use this 59/64 bit to drill out the 1/2 side of this fitting which was a 1 inch male (BSPP) British Standard Piped Parallel to a 1/2 inch female BSPP. Then I was able to use a 3/4 inch (NPT) National Pipe Tapered tap from Tractor Supply to tap new threads. Now I can connect my Italian cast aluminum radiator with 3/4 inch NPT fittings which can easily be found at lowes or home depot.

Very good quality and fast delivery.
Used these drill bits hard and lots. Very pleased at how well they stayed sharp.

Good bits
Dill American bits I have gotten in the past have always been of solid quality and durability and this one is no exception. With larger bits they should have 1/2" shank at least due to stress so avoid ones that do not. I would recommend this anyone who needs a bit this size.

Powerful Bit
I bought this Drill America bit to cut holes for hinges for our bull gates and it seems to hold up. We’ve been using 4.5” steel pipe posts that are about 3/8” thick for our cattle corral and have been needing a big hole to fit the hinges. Using this ¾” bit in combination with smaller pilot holes that got up to 9/16”, I was able to repeatedly put holes in our tough steel posts. After trying other bits, the same size that were allegedly rated for metal from Theisen’s and Mill’s fleet farm and having them dull out before even getting through the first hole, I decided to look up what would be best and multiple sources recommended using a cobalt bit. Between the black oxide and this cobalt one, there’s no comparison. The Drill America bit cuts faster and stays sharper for much much longer. Overall, this bit is a lifesaver and I’d highly recommend it for anyone who needs to cut tough metal.

Not great - don't recommend
I bought this 17/32" cobalt bit to drill 4 holes into high strength steel in a truck frame. I also bought several Milwaukee cobalt bits to step up the size so this bit wouldn't have to do all the work. The Milwaukee cobalt bits performed like they were cutting through butter. I started with a pilot hole with a 1/4" Milwaukee bit and gradually increased the size by 1/16" each step. I also used a 3/8" Harbor Freight titanium bit to step up the hole size and it performed well. This bit chattered and danced and took forever to finish the hole which was almost to the final size. All of the bits were thoroughly lubricated and run at low speed. I'm giving this bit a 2 star rating because it got the job done and it was round and 17/32" diameter but the result and performance wasn't pretty. I wouldn't buy another one or recommend it to anyone.

If used properly it works well.
I drilled 16 holes in 1/4" steel plates. Used 5w20 as lube since I ran out of tap oil. Showing some signs of wear but overall still good. Definitely not a pro grade drill bit but for 1/2 the price I was happy I got the job done.

its works!
Drilled 3/4 " holes(4) into a stainless steal Merc Bravo propeller. Needed a drill press to do it though.
