Good quality drill bits for small craft projects.

I use my Dremel tool all the time for crafting projects and these drill bits are great if you need to make small, accurate holes in wood and metal.

Nice drill bits for my dremel workstation

Brad point bits are awesome. These ones are nice and sharp. I use them with the dremel workstation and they work great. The dremel workstation essentially turns your dremel into a drill press. It is not a precision tool (much of it is plastic). If you are using these drill bits in a dremel workstation, I STRONGLY recommend using a square to validate that the drill bit is perfectly perpendicular to the base. If it isn’t, you should investigate if your dremel is seated properly in the workstation, and that all bolts are tight (don’t miss ones on the bottom of the cradle that holds the dremel). The first workstation that I bought was defective such that the drill bit angled towards the rear of the base. So be sure to check with a square before drilling something important!

Great bits for Dremel/Workstation combo.

These are great bits for use with a Dremel tool secured in their "Workstation" 220 mini-press, but probably not much practical use for anything else. 1/8" reduced shanks mean they'll fit the standard Dremel mini-chuck with ease; the bits are shorter in length to accommodate the limited, 2" max. press transit of the 220, and the brad point cutting tips will help with pin-point centering/accuracy of your drill holes, despite the somewhat "squirrelly" nature of the 220's press action. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the Dremel mini-press ... it should just not be confused with a "real" drill press ... its limitations are no greater or less than those of the Dremel tool itself. Dremel's express warning that hand-drilling with the 1/4" bit is "not recommended" should tell you all you need to know about these bits. Just take your time, carefully align, don't drill materials too hard for the bit (e.g., metal, really dense hardwoods), and don't put too much pressure on the cut ... let the bit do the work, and you should be VERY happy with your results.

Excelente calidad y utilidad. El precio ...

Estas brocas son las que más utilizo en el DREMEL, lo hacen una herramienta mucho más versátil. Son brocas muy precisas gracias a la punta y dejan un hueco con excelente acabado tanto en los laterales como en el fondo. Lo único que si es que hay que tener cuidado con la velocidad de la herramienta y que tan rápido se hace el hoyo ya que por la velocidad o al dejarla broca mucho tiempo en el mismo lugar se puede quemar un poco el interior de la perforación. El único defecto de este producto es el precio. Son unas brocas caras pero considerando que permiten perforar en madera y plástico hoyos mucho más grandes con el DREMEL y que las brocas y el organizador tiene una calidad excelente son una buena inversión. De hecho me gustaría mucho que hicieran un set con tamaños intermedios y a lo mejor unas brocas un poco mas grandes y/o un set milimétrico.

Worked well on styrene

Melting styrene is a legit concern so I ran these at the lowest RPM possible and it went through 1/4 of styrene plastic fairly easily on the Dremel drillpress workstation. I saw a *little* melting but not much. I took it in several passes with cooling time in between gos. Nice clean end result. Perfection. Worth every penny.

1/4 inch drill bit for your Dremel 1/8 collet

This is something that I had to do an internet search for and was surprised that there was an actual product made by Dremel. I needed a method of using a 1/4 inch drill bit with my dremel because I bought the workstation (which is actually a drill press for your dremel). The search turned up Dremel 631 Brad Point Bits which has 4 drill bits that has a shank of 1/8 which is the collet size for almost everything dremel. Thus my workstation drill press is now able to drill 1/4, 3/16, 5/32 and 1/8. This is a great find for your Dremel Tool.

Worked great

I am a new to any type of woodworking. These, and my Dremel made it so easy to drill the holes I needed perfectly. I have only used one size so far but am confident they will all work equally well.
