I'd like what the model has on, not what was sent to me, please
So I bought this for a special occasion a few weeks ago. I had read the reviews and thought that maybe people were just being overly sensitive or critical - that would be a negative, ghostrider. This material is as cheap as it comes, I mean CHEAP, FLIMSY, and UNCOMFORTABLE. I bought the 3x and I'm NOT a 3x. I'm a 1x at best and only in the hips and breast area. So I bought the 3x thinking, "Oh, I'll have plenty of room and won't feel constricted or anything." The whole point of wearing something like this is to feel sexy and attractive, right? Nope. I got this puppy home, pulled it out and instantly regretted my purchase. I thought to myself, "okay, it's not the most amazing material but it will do for one-night" and I proceed to put it on. I kid you not, this thing was skin-tight on me. It was super tight around my chest and breasts, something I wanted to AVOID in a satin chemise as there is NO GIVE at all with material like this. Of course, it was super loose in the waist area and I looked no where near attractive in it. So I took the chemise off, thinking I could pull off a pair of sexy matching underwear under the robe, right? Wrong again. The robe barely closed around my hips again. At this point I was in tears - I mean, I wanted to look pretty for my boyfriend on our special occasion and was stressing over what I would wear because I was running out of time (Victoria Secret is a joke if you are a curvy woman and a size 14/16 and I didn't want to spend $100 on lingerie from Nordstroms or something akin it). I told my mom about my plight, crying because I felt hideous and fat (you know how us girls can get) and she didn't understand what I was talking about (again, she didn't understand because I had bought something two sizes larger than I am and didn't believe it was that bad) so I had her try on the robe. Now my mom, who is about a size 12/14, put the robe on and was blown away by how small it was. At most, we estimate it to be an XL (a normal sized XL) as sizing goes. So, be warned: THEIR SIZING IS TOTALLY MESSED UP. If you have a chest (I'm a 38DD) and you have hips - this is NOT GOING TO FIT YOU. So, that said, I hope this helps future buyers in avoiding the same fiasco I did. It's cheap but it's cheap for a reason.

Review from a size 16/18 and tricks to tie the strappy backed slip!
I will admit I purchased this set primarily for the robe. I am a size 16/18 dress but took the advice of other reviewers and sized up to the 3X/4X. I LOVE the robe! (and cute bonus hanger) It is roomy and silky-although you can definitely tell it is polyester not true silk, still worth it for the cost. As an added plus the box arrived at my home a full 2 days prior to the expected delivery date. As for the 4 rating: the back of the slip IS an "open back" style and the straps are confusing. To start with I tried lacing it up the way it is shipped to you. Ladies: this is incorrect. So to all who are finding the size too small-this is the issue. There are two sets of straps. The smaller length ones just above your behind tie together and give shape to the hips. The long set go from the front, over your shoulders, cross at the back of your neck, then slip through the tabs at the upper back area, and tie together. You will end up with two bows-one higher up mid back around the shoulder blades- the other in the small of your back down low. I'm not saying the open back is the most flattering or easiest to tie on a plus sized woman, I am saying that is the way the ties are suppose to work. Confusion with straps aside I will still be purchasing this in other colors. That is how satisfied I am. I truly hope that this helps!

Simple, yet elegant
This product doesn't have much of a description, so I'll try and help it out a bit. I ordered the pink and it's a pleasant petal pink. Not a strong bubble gum or a washed out pastel. The fabric is soft and the way that it drapes is very flattering. The chemise has darting to accomidate those of us who are busty. The shoulder straps aren't sewn down in the back; they're looped through holes so you can adjust them to exactly how you want them and then tie the ends together. Low on the back there are two more ties so you can synch up the waist or leave it out, depending on how hippy you are. This garment is definitely friendly for all shapes and sizes. The robe is a true wrap-around. There's an extra tie inside the robe so you won't have to worry about it flopping open and being a pain the butt. Typically speaking I'm a size 16 and ordered the 1x-2x and am very pleased. The shoulders are a little big for me, I'm only 5'1" so they'd probably be fine for someone who is taller.

Pretty and worth the very reasonable price
I have read a lot of strange complaints about this product. I have to say I dont agree. Yes its not real satin or silk but for 20 bucks who cares. The robe is great, silky roomy but short and sexy. The Cami is awesome. I dont know what all the complaints are about. I am 2x and I ordered this in red. I took advice and ordered the 3x. I am glad I did because it fits and a 2 would have been tight. As for the cami being shapeless or unflattering I did not find this so. I untied it and adjusted the very sexy cross back straps so it was a bit looser and therefore was lower on my chest thus showing off more cleavage and tied the lower one to fit my proportions and I think it looks fabulous. I am 40 and have large breasts so I tend to wear a sexy bra under my lingerie so the "twins" dont hang south and look funny but I think the cami is sexy and fun and fits me great.

fits small, cheap material
It's 100% polyester. The 3x/4x fit me. My bust is 49 inches, my waist is 42-44 inches, and my hips are 44 inches. I'm 5'9" and 219 pounds. I assume that the 1x/2x would have been too small. I don't think the 3x/4x would fit if I was much bigger (especially around the bust). The bust area is snug. I almost always fit into a 2x. It is wrinkly out of the package. I have not washed it yet. The satin is soft and smooth on the outside, but somewhat rough and not as comfortable on the inside. The material feels very cheap. But since it is cheap, I like it. Washing instructions are to wash on cold, no bleach, no dryer, line dry.

Adorable
I wear a size 20, ordered the 3x 4x per size chart. The chemise fits comfortably once I got the strings adjusted. The robe has lots of space through the shoulders and chest but the bottom of the robe doesn't over lap when closed, not a big deal its how I'm shaped. Overall I'm happy with the purchase!
