Worth it! Magic bottle
Okay hear me out! This is my third kid and he ended up doing the best on these bottles, he cries a lot from gas and reflux issues till the point where he would be screaming and inconsolable. At first i tried tommee tipee bottles because they were easy to clean but he was so fussy after every feed. Then I tried phillips avent anti colic bottles.. still fussy. My other babies did fine on avent bottles but i dont think they had feeding issues. If you are like me and can not stand your baby crying after every feed just do yourself a favor and buy this bottle to try it out. Yes its a pain to wash each piece but i use a wash basin and wash all the pieces in soapy water first by letting them soak before scrub down. Use the tiny bristle brush that comes with it to wash the valves. And scrub every hole nook and cranny!! I use a regular straw cleaner brush because it works better. And also i bought the dr browns sterlizer and dryer machine and its so amazing. It sanitizes and dries my bottles and parts completely in under one hour! Do not assemble the bottles wet it will smell odd, i wouldn’t recommend it. make sure all pieces are clean and dry before assembling . Okay and for the leaking issue you see on the negative reviews, i dont over tighten the ring cap. My husband over tightens the ring cap for the nipple part and they leak every time he assembles bottles. Just screw it on until its on there but dont apply extra pressure. Last thing.. when warming this up in a bottle warmer- do not warm up the bottle with the valves pieces or nipple, use a plastic cap for warming bottles i think i got the cap from the dr browns bottle warmer, which i don’t recommend for warming bottles i prefer the avent bottle warmer more. Good luck ????

Dr Brown’s awesome! Skinny on several types of bottles, on leaks, and too many parts to clean!!
Dr Brown’s bottles, in general, are great!! Each one, however, is slightly different and overall I prefer the Options, even though my baby is not old enough to use valve-less. I have the original (terrible at spills, because the white cap in the shape of a top hat, sort of, doesn’t stop any liquid at all; they have clear bottles, blue tubies, and whitish valves). I have 4oz blue Options (great, easy parts, thumb print on the lid is awesome for popping that sucker off, and the lid also has these bumps that line up with the nipple, where it slows down the leaking of liquids, and keeps the leak in the cap, although given the ease of taking the cap off, it can still get really messy). (Sorry for the run on sentences, I’m a sleep deprived mama!!) I have the 4oz pink Options (similar to the blue, but actually the valve fits very snuggly along with the tubey part into the bottle, so that can be handy when trying to put the bottle together or add formula, while also holding a baby - more stable than any of the other bottles, where the tubey/valve pieces are just loose kind of sitting on top of the bottle; similar cap as the blue, but no thumb print, and harder to get the cap off, especially one handed). Lastly, I have the 8oz Options with plain bottles and with the Dream/Adventure and Animal characters, all with the green valves and tubies, and the similar cap to the blue, except they are clear, thumbprint included! These have been great, and the animal characters are super cute; the ‘dream big’ and ‘adventure awaits’ are cute-meh. The only thing I was disappointed in that set, is that half the bottles had characters, and half were plain. I may be off on the count, because I bought two sets, but I remember being bummed that I paid a premium for cuteness, and didn’t get a full set of cuteness! I do not own, but have used some purple wide bottles that I was loaned while traveling. That was great, so I wouldn’t have to carry a bunch of bottles, but I wouldn’t/didn’t buy them; they’re just too wide for my taste, harder to handle, especially one handed, and I didn’t feel the wide nipple was significantly better for my baby girl. I will address two of the main two complaints I’ve seen about Dr. Brown’s: leaking and too many parts to clean! Leaking, yes, totally a thing, but it does in fact say on the bottle to only fill to X line to avoid leaking! Having said that, it is very hard for my brain to perfectly calculate how much water I need for the formula, where I don’t end up exceeding the volume specified on ghe bottle! I personally don’t think it’s a huge issue. I know it’s going to or probably will, leak, given the liquid in the bottle, and what I do is to keep a cloth or bib under the bottle when she first starts drinking, and after the liquid is down a bit, I just open the bottle up and pull the valve/tubey piece up a bit, and several big drops come flying down the side of the bottle, which I just wipe off with the same bib/cloth. I can immediately get the bottle put back together before my daughter complains too terribly much. Remember, this is only an issue when you’re filling the entire bottle, either 4oz or 8, so at that point the baby is a bit older and can hopefully handle the briefest of pauses without too much of an issue. If my daughter were the type to go full on nuclear melt down, I think I would probably have to be more diligent about staying under the line, and offering more milk, once the bottle’s finished, and a fuller belly is less likely to melt down. Ok, regarding too many parts to clean... there’s what? Two extra parts that other bottles don’t have? Meh. But I will totally recommend getting the Dr Brown’s dishwasher baskets!!! Oh. Dude. Awesome sauce, life-saving, yes. I am very green, sustainable oreinted, so I cringe at how much water I’m consuming running the dishwasher sometimes every day. So not cool. And, I’m also a sole parent, so I gots a lot to take care of, dishwashy basket is a must!! I have 4. : 0 ) I’m not a super fan of washing the nipples in the dishwasher, so I still do those by hand, no biggy. There’s even special baskets for just nipples; someone gave them to me, but no, I no likey since it looks like there’s still a film on the inside. My experience with Dr Brown’s bottles in general, has been awesome! I don’t even remember when I sorta stopped burping my baby (she’s six months now), it just happened organically over time, but when I was burping her (maybe for three months?), she would only have one, maybe two burps. She burps on her own now, but then maybe that’s just her, the point is that there was very little gas! She had a wee bit of reflux as a newborn, but that’s normal I think, what with having an immature gut as a tadpole-baby. I gave her probiotics and kept her upright-ish, and I think the bottles helped. Ultimately, I totally recommend them!! They were recommended to me by my sister, 8 years ago, as my nephew’s salvation, hope they work for you!

Great for puppies
I purchased Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Narrow Baby Bottles for the purpose of nursing newborn puppies, and I am thrilled with how well they work! These bottles are designed to reduce colic, and I found that they also worked wonders for my puppies, who tended to experience digestive issues when nursing. The narrow shape of the bottle makes it easy to hold and control while feeding, and the silicone nipple is soft and flexible, which mimics the texture and feel of a mother dog's teat. The bottle also comes with a vent system that helps to reduce air intake and prevent gas and colic in the puppies. One of the features that I appreciate about these bottles is that they are easy to clean and sterilize, which is important when nursing newborns. They are also made from high-quality materials that are safe for my puppies to use. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Narrow Baby Bottles for nursing newborn puppies. They are effective, easy to use, and durable, making them a great investment for anyone who wants to ensure the health and well-being of their newborn puppies.

Crisis Averted. The only bottle our infant will use.
We had two other high end brands saved from when our toddler was on the formula. When our second arrived he would not drink out of any of them. We were so concerned he would have feeding issues so we tried the Dr. Brown's anti-colic bottle on a whim, mind you he in not colicy. He immediately drank 4oz and continues to drink as much or more each feeding (a month later).

Great flow rate
Our boys were in the NICU and got used to the Similac yellow nipple and we struggled to find a similar flow rate. These bottles with the level 1 have been perfect for them and we’ve slowly been going to the next level as they grow. They’re also sturdy—we’ve dropped them several times and they’ve never cracked.

Perfect for lab puppies
I purchased these to use with my litter of labrador puppies. I have tried all kinds of different bottles/nipples and these suckers are hands-down the best. All of my 2 day old pups were able to easily latch on and drink to their heart's content. I got the 8 oz bottles with the size 1 nipples. I could not be happier and highly recommend this to anyone breeding/raising puppies the size of the labrador pup. They work great.

Buy them they only leak If you don't tighten them well.
These are the number 1 bottles on my list. I tried the newer style playtex and tippee and some other brand. This bottle only LEAKS IF YOU DO NOT screw the lid on tight. I only have used it with the green pieces inside and it does NOT leak once I turn the lid tight. I'm so happy it came with lids and fits inside my bottle warmer perfect unlike the curved bottles with the big base at the bottom that doesn't allow my bottles to heat. My daughter loves these and doesn't suck in air when she's drinking. She's a fast sucker and these nipples are perfect. I boiled these 3 times a day until I got a sterilizer and they still look brand new after 3 weeks so far. I will only use this brand from now on.

Pain to clean but effective for colic
Although it’s a pain to clean it and it has several parts but it does work for reducing infant colic. My son had tongue tie and due to excessive air intake he had so much colic and crying all day long. With the brown bottle of course as well as medications and other things he improved significantly. But u could clearly see the difference when he took a regular bottle and when he took the Dr. Brown’s bottles. I guess the pain of cleaning them is just a small price to pay for my baby being better. To note i hate them for travelling if they contain milk and only if they are tilted they do leak inside the cover so when u open the cover the milk comes out. if they could do just a small screw cover like the medella or tommy tippe that would save so much trouble. On the travel i just put the milk into a medella or a small avent bottle and when my baby wants to eat i transfer it to to the Dr. Brown. They are so long that they are half the length of my baby which looks awkward but all these are secondary things if u compare it to the positive outcomes. So yes i do recommend.

Good for gas, leak constantly
We bought these bottles out of necessity for our son when he was having gas issues as a newborn. They worked great for about three weeks so I didn't believe other people were having leaking issues like all the reviews said. After using ours for about three weeks they started leaking and have only continued to get worse. We haven't changed to any other bottles because this type was already our third try to find a bottle for reducing gas and we didn't want to spend anymore. But we always have to hold a paper towel or drool rag under the bottle when he feeds so it doesn't leak all over him and us. We also have to loosen the lids part way through his feed because the milk will travel up the air vent and leak out even more. We have tried all the suggestions from the company website and other people's reviews to try to stop the leaking issues but nothing works and it's only gotten worse. We don't over fill, we don't warm up the bottles with vents in, we don't make the lids too tight or loose, we clean all the bottles parts (which is also more work), and we hold the bottles in a way to keep the vent from getting clogged but they leak like crazy every time. I would not recommend these bottles to anyone unless your baby has bad gas issues and even then, you should try to find another gas reducing option as these are a huge pain in the ass. We are just continuing to use them until he can hold his own bottle because we spent so much money on them and the extra premiee nipples and dishwasher basket. once he is holding his own bottle we'll have to use something different because we won't be able to stop it from leaking on him.

Not the same
We already had these bottles but I wanted more to make it easier to rotate. They are not the same quality as the first ones we bought. I even thought they might be knock offs but the packaging looks original. The wet bottle is an old one, it’s hard to see but the print is much better. The new one also has a line in the plastic that the other bottle doesn’t have. There are a few other visual quality differences, I hope they will work as well!

Too messy
I wasn’t able to breastfeed so This was the first bottle I went to. The flow wasn’t too fast. But as my baby needed more formula the bottles started leaking. They claim you can use them with or without the vent. That is not the case. I have to keep turning the bottle to ensure i don’t have a milk soaked baby and that’s before the nipple even touches his lips. Honestly between the leaking and the nine million pieces you have to clean it’s not worth the money.
