Elevate your shoe game

I wanted a pair of shoes I could wear with anything in my closet and these are those shoes! They can go from the office to a night out listening to a band at your local dive bar. They look cute with pants and jeans and skirts and dresses. I haven’t worn them with shorts yet, but I bet they would elevate that look too. Speaking of elevate, those lug soles will give you those extra inches of height that will have you strutting into the room like an Amazonian goddess. They are heavy, no doubt, but what’s the point in stomping around in little ballerina flats? You are a force of nature and your shoes should be too. You don’t forget leg day with these clunkers. I think my calf muscles have toned just by repeated wear of these booties. As for sizing, these are fairly standard docs. They might be a little roomier to be honest, but that allowed me to add some arch support to them and it has made them so comfortable I can’t believe it. Simple style but runs large

I knew this would run large being unisex and docs so I ordered an 8 (normally an 8.5-9) but it was still about a size too big for me. Love the look so I returned it and will be getting it in size 7. It was very comfortable and didn’t need much breaking into (the first pair) so hopefully the 7 will be the same! Good choice if you’re looking for a simple black boot Chelsea -ish style that will last if it’s in true dr marten style . I’ve bought plenty of (still cute) Amazon boots but tired of them falling about about 3-4 months so decided to bite the bullet and get this especially since I realize how iconic a low black boot is and how it’s such a staple in my closet. Get these !

Perfect

First of all this is my first pair of Dr. Martens, I love them!! I wore them everyday for about a week to “break them in” and had no issues. I agree with other reviews that say they run a bit big, I usually wear a 9.5 in boots (9 in flats and sandals) so I went with a 9 in these. After a week I noticed because if the slight heel my foot slid toward the front when walking. The insole is a smooth leather and is a bit slippery depending on the sock you wear. I thought about sizing down but was worried I wouldn't have enough room for winter socks. So instead I bought an inexpensive pair of Dr. Scholls inserts, cut them to size, and like magic the problem was solved. I love them even more now and can’t wait to see how long they will last me.

Made me walk like a velociraptor

Something is off about the balance on these. They’re stiff and heavy, and shifted my weight forward when I walked. I returned them.

Incredible boots! Runs large

These killer boots run large so size down, but they are incredibly comfortable and super stylish for me (a woman) even though they’re marketed as mens. I have high arches and lean toward wide and wear a 10 in most brands but always order a 9 in Docs. These boots are perfect. Elastic gusset in the inside leaves room for high arches even with a zip on the outside. Comfy from the first wearing. No break in time needed! These will be in regular rotation with everything from jeans to dresses. Perfect, solid, great quality Docs.

Check return warranty

3 months of normal use and the zipper broke on one shoe. No way to fix it. Money down the drain! No way to return at this point.

Best boot ever!

I bought this boot because I love the look and wanted a leather boot with a lugg sole. It is comfortable and I can wear them for a good length of time. They are very heavy It’s a workout for your legs for sure. Great price!

Las amé pero...

De todas las botas y sandalias Dr Marten son las que poseen el cuero más grueso, se ven mejor diseñadas y más resistentes que botas con las cuales ya llevo años. Sin embargo, son sumamente pesadas para "lo pequeñas" que son, la suela en sí misma pesa, y como lo mencioné con antelación el cuero, al ser grueso pesa y cuesta trabajo "quebrarlas" llevo ya dos Semanas de uso consecutivas con calcetas gruesas esperando que el cuero se ablande, para evitar me hagan llagas.
