These Dorman 6" shelf peghooks are really heavy!
I was very happy when I got these and saw how sturdy they are. I only bought one set of 2, just to see what they were like but now that I have them, I wish I'd ordered more. I'll be watching the pricing on these and if I find another deal, I'm definitely going to order more.

Nice variety at a good price.
I bought a set of these for our garage remodel and overall I am pretty happy with them. Large variety of hooks for a reasonable price, the long straight ones have the red rubber tip, which is nice. Has 2 of the double hooks, 4 of the super long ones, 4 of the medium length ones, 4 of the rounded hooks, and 6 each of the 2 smaller "L" hooks. So far they are doing a great job of holding up my husband's zombie attack, err, yard work, arsenal of hatchets, machetes, and other outdoor sharp and pointy things we do not want the children to touch. I also have some on the tool pegboard holding hammers, drill, and other tools. My only 2 complaints are not all the little nubby things on the back fit the holes...I think some of them are just a little off so it took a lot of struggling and a hammer to get a few of them in. Once in, they are very secure, which I like. I just think some are not made quite the same. My other complaint is minor, but one of our hammers does not fit into the double one, so I wish it were just a tad wider, but the other 2 hammers fit fine, so it is not a big deal. I just customized a holder from 2 of the straight ones, no problem. Overall a nice variety for the price!

Helped with Organizing My Shop
I used these to put up some shelves on the peg board in my shop/garage. They worked as expected and were heavy duty enough for the task. If I need more shelves I would order more.

Does not fit 1/4 in. pegboard.
Was stated and says on package that it will fit 1/4in pegboard. It does not fit. Will not hang out flat. Has to be less than 1/4in.

Just what I needed for mounting a 6" shelf
I needed to mount a 6" wide shelf to the pegboard, and needed some supports that would not only be strong, but would hold the load I wished to put on the shelf. They are well-built, and the brace that forms the lower part of this bracket gives the strength I needed. These are perfect for my shelving.

Good quality
Sturdy and thick and doesnt take up too much pegboard space. PROS: 1.Vertically it only takes up about 3 pegboard holes. 2.Thicker than most pegboard hooks. 3.Sturdy CON: 1. bracket slants forward a bit (which can easy be fixed with a a thin piece of something, folded up paper, plastic bumper, or wood , which i used.) 2. A bit expensive.( I saw these at harbor freight in a combo pack for 8 bux. Not sure if they are as thick ,but still. )

Works well with WallPeg boards
I'm using these on myWallPeg plastic pegboard system , which has 1/4" holes. Normally accessories like this, which have a 1/8" wire diameter, don't work well because the accessory tends to flop around loose in the hole when accessing the tool it holds. But with shelf brackets like these, it isn't a problem because the weight of the shelf itself keeps the brackets from moving too much. So these will work well on a WallPeg board or any other with 1/4" holes. However, beware of other accessories that use 1/8" diameter wire - these will likely cause problems on a board with 1/4" holes because there is nothing to keep them from flopping about. Avoid at all costs any solutions involving straps or extra doohickeys to tie down your tool hangers and accessories as you will spend half your life fiddling with them. Check out the WallPeg system instead.

Size of hooks
In the first set one of the hooks wasn’t straight nice enough they sent another set one of second set same. This time I just had to a little bending for to sit straight on the board. They look great.

not flat
it's strong enough, but in a set of pair, one may be not matching with others, it means when you put the pin wood upside, it maybe not flat, so you fave to find something like a piece of rubber to fill the gap downside the wood, I have bough 10 pairs, 3or 4 of them have these problems.

Poor quality/design
I ordered 2 sets. In one set, each of the pair was a slightly different design, different lengths of hook in the pegboard end, so unable to make a shelf sit flat. Neither set allowed the shelf to sit flat, as they are made for a thinner pegboard than the standard. I bought my pegboard at Home Depot, it's a standard 1/4" thick. With these installed, the shelf sits with the front tilted up. Returned them for a refund to Amazon.
