Super Disappointed - Leather ripped first time I tied the laces - Faulty

I'm very upset with these shoes. After purchasing, it took me a while to actually get around to wearing them as I was saving them to wear on vacation. While on vacation, I put them on and upon pulling the laces, the leather at the top lace hole completely ripped through!!! Now I have missed the return window and I have brand new unworn and unwearable shoes!

Shoes arrived used and dirty

I was so excited to receive these shoes. But they arrived dirty and clearly had been worn before and were repackaged. So frustrating…

Style of cute but craftsmanship low quality

For $90, I’d expect them to be better made. This craftsmanship gives me Payless vibes. Lots of exposed glue, particularly where the sole meets the upper. And the black strips on the back and outer sides of the shoes look like cheap glued-on strips. I know I can get better quality elsewhere for the same price, so I’m returning these. I’ve been searching for months for the perfect black sneakers and I thought these were it. They’re cute for sure, but I’d only be willing to pay $35/$40 tops based on the quality.

Great Shoes

Love these shoes. They are comfy, quality, and slip right on and off. One note--they are very low, so they do feel a bit loose/like they may come off, but I tightened the strings a bit. I like that they don't even have to be tied. The leather cleans so easily. Glad I found these!!

Wear and tear

I ordered these shoes to wear on a cruise to Japan, where I am presently. These shoes were worn once. The picture speaks for itself. At home I would have returned them but I’m still in Japan and the shoes will have to be worn again despite their condition.
