Solid but narrow
This is a good solid pillow it doesn't sink in but it's a lot narrower than I anticipated

Kinda small
It's pretty good but small for my needs. Double check the dimensions again before purchasing! The return policy for these kind of products are non existent so double check! But at the end of the day the quality was decent but the size would be for a very small person or child.

It works!
I have spasticity in one leg as a result of a brain injury. I have dealt with problems sleeping for many years because of this. The pillow keeps my legs in place where is no chance of issues with their position, like pressure on one side of my disabled foot. I am very grateful for this product.

Not perfect, but great for what I need it for.
I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Because of this, I cannot lay flat without something under my knees if I'm on my back or between my knees if I'm on my side. I have been using this for a year and 8 months now. The thing that I absolutely LOVE about it is that it is firm enough to withstand the weight of my legs without flattening, but soft enough to not cut off the circulation in my legs. That being said, the cover is kind of rough to the touch and after going through the wash the first time it has pilling on the surface which adds to the roughness. When placed on the bed in the way it is meant to, it is not tall enough to provide me with proper elevation for my knees. To remedy this, I turn it on it's side with the angled part pointing at my feet. Thankfully, this works great and is then tall enough to relieve the strain on my back. I was also surprised that the angled top does not really affect the feel of it when I place it between my knees when I am laying on my side. Also, when laying on my side it is of a length to support my upper leg from knee to foot, which I am once again very thankful for. All in all, this was a great purchase. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with back problems. It would be nice to maybe see a deluxe version of this that has an outer memory foam layer as well as a softer cover that doesn't pill up when washed (it'd be nice to see that on the regular one as well). **EDIT After writing the above I went back and read through some of the other reviews. I noticed that a lot of people mentioned a chemical smell. I believe that the foam did have a smell to it when I first got it, but it was never bad enough to bother me while I'm sleeping and my wife has never mentioned it. So, don't let the smell stop you from purchasing this.

Smaller than advertised
Despite being described as 17 inches long in both the product description and accompanying literature, the pillow only measures 16 inches.

Perfect height
Exactly the right height and angle to ease the strain in my back. I like the removable, washable cover too.

Life saver for those with knee pain
I have used this for knee pain pre and post knee replacement surgery. Before surgery it helped to keep my knee elevated and helped with some swelling and pain. I know you are not supposed to have your knee bent on a pillow right after knee replacement surgery, but I was not able to find any way to get comfortable to get any sleep when I got home. I ended up using this with another similar shaped pillow we had a home. I had this one under my knee and the other one was under my foot/ankle. This way my leg was elevated, but my knee was not bent. This worked so much better than simply putting a pillow or two under my leg! Even if I moved a little in my sleep (which I couldn't really do for a while), the pillow stayed in place. With regular pillows, any slight movement and my pillow stack would tumble, with my post-surgical knee dropping to the bed in pain. Now, over a month post-surgery, I still use this when sleeping to elevate my knee, and often use as before to elevate my whole leg. I have been unable to get comfortable sleeping on my side with a regular pillow between my legs, as suggested by my doctor. I tried to use this one to lay on my side, with the pillow perpendicular to my body, with the leg on the bed up against it, and the top leg resting on top of it. It may take some experimenting to find a comfortable position, but it has been much more effective for me than playing around with bed or throw pillows have been. I have not tried to wash the cover yet, but have a feeling it would have to be air-dryed. I would definitely buy this again, and have recommended to others.

Make sure you know how long 17 inches are.
I need to start by saying that neither the picture on this site, nor the picture on the product's label show the actual product. It must be two of them together. They're 17 inches long & 7 inches tall, so if you look at how long it is in relationship to how tall it is, does it look like it's a little more than twice as long as it is tall? No. The picture looks at least 4 times as long as it is tall. So either they have two of these together or it's just not this item. They need to change the pictures. Taking that into account, use your tape measure to see for yourself what it would be like. It's a pretty nice unit for the price. I'm 6 feet tall & if this product were higher, as some people complained that it needed to be, it would be WAY too tall for me. Plus, if it were taller, then it would cut off the circulation in your legs. Or it would do that to mine anyway. I like the height. It's perfect for me. The construction seems fine. It's like the three bears, it's JUST right. Not too hard & not too soft, not too short & not too tall. Of course, you could spend 5 times as much & get something made of memory foam, but I didn't see anything that looked like this anyway. For the price, it does the job. In fact, I bought two of them because I thought 34" (2x17") would be better. However, I don't use the other one in my bed because that's just too much pillow for me & we have a King size bed. I gave it four stars because of a deceptive picture. Other than that, I like it.

My leg muscles het horrible cramping pain and I found through trial and error ...
This is just right for elevating the knees which takes strain off muscles. I have severe Fibromyalgia and am mostly bed bound. My leg muscles het horrible cramping pain and I found through trial and error that elevating my knees in bed helped. I also use a foam bed wedge for my head and often use heat as well. This really made a difference. I use it all the time, as trying to put a pillow or pillows under my knees was uncomfortable after awhile and the pillows slip around anyway. This works much better. it is a good size, and a good firmness--neither too hard nor too soft. It is also long enough that your legs don't come over to the sides of it and you can adjust them without falling off.

Flattened in weeks
The foam was flat as a pancake within weeks. So, would only be useful for temporary injuries, or someone wanting to try out what sleeping with raised does for them. Not a long term or durable product.

Perfect!
I can't sleep without this Pillow! It's absolutely perfect. I have arthritis in my knees and can't straighten both of them fully, which makes it hard to sleep. Thus pillow allows me to rest my legs on it, makes me able to sleep! I've been using it for months now, and still holds its shape! I'm surprised to read the other reviews that say it collapsed quick..my experience it's very sturdy. The ONLY thing I wish is that it would be a few inches longer, to hold both my legs more comfortably. Other than that, it's great!
