Worked for me
Redid all the rollers on my boat, and these worked great for me. I know some people struggle to use these, but the key is using a big C clamp to press them on. You can do it like a caveman with a hammer, or just slowly press it on real easy. They’ve been on now for a month or so, and I tried prying the first set off and realized it was going to take a lot of force. It’ll probably be a permanent fixture until I need to replace rollers again.

Size listed is the width of the hole in the cap, not the entire cap width.
Wasn’t sure, took a chance after measuring, and it was perfect fit. They appear to be galvanized, and already much sturdier than the original shiny one that had broken.

Exactly what i needed
My dolly lost the 1/2 cap and you can't find them locally. I had to buy a package of 10 but it's worth it to me to fix my dolly. I can get a lot of work done a lot easier now and if I lose another one I have replacements.

Perfect for 7/16 rod handles on my smoker.
Strong wind knocked over my heavy smoker, the handles had heat shielding handles that were held on by these caps but Came off when it fell over I could not find them in the tall grass. IM glad I measured the rods before ordering. These are an odd size but were exactly what I needed. You can find everything on Amazon.

painoftheaxle remedy
I needed these washer caps as replacements to fix a childs tricycle wheels originally not put together properly. Generally used as axle caps to hold on wheels of small pedal/push toys or wheeled BBQ grills etc. In this case for 3/8 inch common steel axles. Measure carefully to make sure that you get the correct size for the job as they come in many common sizes. They are pressed or hammer tapped evenly to seat properly. Once in place they hold extremely well and are very difficult to remove without destroying. So be sure you are ready to put them on. They are of great quality and will hold and last probably for the usefull life of the unit used on. Nice to have on hand for do it yourself'er. Very pleased to find them here.

Great axel nuts. Hold better than others
Ordered to repair axel on trash bin. Worked beautifully and holding up. These have tab that acts as a lock washer. A little harder to install, but far more secure. Recommended.

Yes, This Will Fix That Wheel
The wheel fell off my rolling trash bin and, rather than toss the whole thing, I researched until I found this doohicky as the solution. Yes, it's expensive to buy so many when I only needed one but it was well worth it. I bought a new 5/16 rod at the big orange store for less than 2 dollars so for less than $14, my trash can is good as new.

hard to install
These axial caps are difficult to install on a 1/2 inch axial. The metal is so hard that even hammering the caps they did not go in on axials. It is going to take a large force to get them to fit over the end of an axial and an axial the other end needs to be set on a block,
