Dress needs to be hand washed!

Bought for my 3yr old granddaughter. The pearls on the front are not sewn on very well. Instructions are to "hand wash"! My son will not hand wash, that's for sure! I'm sure the costume will be destroyed after the first wash! Not good for little ones who just want to be a princess!

Bought despite bad reviews

I bought this dress after reading several bad reviews. I am so glad I did. It came with disney tags in plastic wrapping in perfect condition. It is thin material and feels cheap, but I don't know what anyone is expecting for spending less than $10. I have washed it twice on delicate cycle and it's held up fine. I don't expect it to last forever, but you can't beat it for the price. I also want to add I bought the 3t/4t for my petite 2 year old that typically wears a 2t. I rubber band the back and it fit perfect, that way my 4 year old can wear it as well.

Runs Large

This is a cute little Princess Sofia dress! My tall 2.5 year old weighs 30 lbs & usually wears a 3T. I ordered the 3/4T & it's so big, we need to pin it to make it fit. Still, she adores it & it's great for playing dress up around the house. As other reviewers have mentioned, I washed the dress once on gentle cycle & allowed it to air dry & the dress got a huge hole under one of the armpits. It should be able to be sewn fairly easily, but I wish it would've held up a little better!

just perfect!

We decided to order this costume for my 3 1/2 year old in spite of some bad reviews and couldnt be happier. I dont know what those bad reviewers were expecting, but the dress is just as shown in the picture. Who cares if the back of the dress is plain? Certainly, not the kids that are going to be wearing it. For the price...this dress is worth buying it. My daughter loved it and has worn it twice without tearing it.

Great Value!

I read a lot of negative reviews before making this purchase, but I figured my 3 year old would wear this dress a lot so I didn't want to pay a lot. I thought this product was a great value for being under $20. It really is so cute and has many detailed features. I think it would even make a good Halloween costume if she wasn't going to wear it every day throughout the year. I may purchase another one for that time!

Poor quality - especially for price.

The quality of this dress is very poor. I saw this in some of the previous reviews but thought it wouldn't be so bad since some of the reviews said the quality was still worth the cost. The seams don't line up (looks like it is inside out when it isn't) and little pearl decorations are not secured well so they will come off easily (could be choking hazard if you have small kids in the house). We opened this as an xmas present so past the return window but I would have returned it if I had seen this before.
