Too good to gatekeep!
My skin absolutely loves this stuf! It feels refreshing on my skin and it's light enough that it doesn't cause my primer/makeup to crease or pull. The ingredients (of all 3 toner serums) match more high end brands. This is surprisingly very *now* skincare. Plus this line is affordable enough, I may actually try layering all 3! This is too good to gatekeep and the price should stay low if enough people are using it. ✌️????️????

Cool and refreshing skin
Dickinson has been around awhile now and I have to say I like the product lineup. This product in particular is fairly new yet it’s upgrades of ingredients are very welcoming to me. I like the gel consistency of it and the cooling effect it has on my skin. It absorbs really well and I can feel the difference on my skin immediately. Leaves a dewy feeling and soft texture afterwards. Doesn’t take much to get these results a little goes a long way. My skin looks and feels better than ever ????

sensitive skin can enjoy
I have sensitive oily skin. This toner +serum has alcohol-free formula which I normally use, so I decided to give it a try. It came in a pump bottle. But there was no seal on the bottle, which was hard to tell if it was brand new. The liquid that comes out is like a very light, clear gel. Thicker than regular toner but thinner than most serums. I've been applying it to my clean face, with my fingertips pressing it in. Do a couple of minutes massage and follow up with a moisturizer afterwards. It absorbs quickly and is gentle. It seems to be effective as well – I can feel this keeps my face from getting too oily and improves my skin texture a bit.

How Does this Make a Difference in Skin Care?
History Witch hazel is derived from the plant Hamamelis Virginiana. For hundreds of years this plant’s leaves, bark, and twigs have been squeezed, simmered, distilled, and decoct [to extract its essence by heating or boiling] to employ its properties in the service of human health, to treat a variety of ailments, whether real or imagined. Dickinson’s Made in the USA. Dickinson’s has been distilling pure Witch Hazel since 1866. Its most familiar use being as an astringent. But this is not mom’s witch hazel. Today, Dickinson’s brings us something new, an alcohol-free 4-in-1 Clearing Toner + Serum with Eucalyptus. We wanted to try it. What benefit we have using. Witch Hazel We use Dickinson’s Witch Hazel because it cleans, tones, and refreshes our skin; plus, it helps refine our pores, which means this removes that environmental dirt that soap just does not seem to get, along with excess oil, and dead skin cells. This cleans-up our pores. This has eliminated visible blackheads, whiteheads, and helped the dreaded acne, reducing those small redness irritations that we see starting. The new serum ingredients that we like. Niacinamide The theory behind the use of niacinamide is to help pores return to their normal size, which this seems to do. We see a return to normal of those pores that are visible, but were enlarged from being clogged from excess oil, make-up, etc... Salicylic Acid This aides in our ritual skin cleaning. The residue of excess facial oil can be clearly seen in that cotton ball we use, and we don’t seem to have the inflammatory responses that other cleaners seem to produce when we use this. Eucalyptus Eucalyptus has traditionally been seen as providing antibacterial, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory properties. We like that and we believe this has assisted in treating our small patches of dry itchy skin and any acne that seems to flare-up. We also have some relief when we have those minor knicks from shaving and effects of a bug bite. What this does not have. No alcohol. Free from gluten, dyes, sulfates, parabens and phthalates. Overall The proof is in the pudding. When we do not use this, we see the return of skin conditions we don’t like. Real Witch Hazel brings real results; our skin appears clearer, and we see a reduction in bumps and acne flare-ups, or we see a faster cool down when we have those flare-ups. The helpfulness can be seen in several days. Always ask your health care professional Skin has basic properties, with individual nuances. So, the positive effects this has on us may not be for all. So, it’s best to consult with someone who knows your skin on use of any product, especially if you have very dry or sensitive skin or skin prone to rosacea.

Gel toner
This is a slightly different toner with some excellent ingredients and impact. However, it is a gel like liquid and was rejected right away by my teen. It works fine on the skin but does leave a residue and is not like the witch hazel I was used to. However, it is a serum and does seem to have some impact on toning the skin. If you are looking for your familiar witch hazel astringent, this is definitely not it; but as a toner and a pick me up for your skin, this does work well.

Detoxing Toner!
So this is a toner that is NOT for the fainthearted. I find that the combination of witch hazel and eucalyptus can get quite dramatic on the skin. It's a bit wet and has a gel consistency which might take some time to absorb. It didn't sting me but it does have a strong cooling sensation. I noticed afterwards that a few blackheads appeared out of nowhere on my face. This makes me think that the astringent power inside will call the pimples out during the first few uses. It does claim to detoxify, so beware. This might not be an everyday toner for me, but certainly during the week, I would use it to deep clean the pores.
