Best face toner
Let me tell you. I was so skeptical about buying this because all of a sudden I started getting acne and I never ever had it before. I went on Amazon to buy a recommended toner but for some reason came across this toner. Let me tell you something just buy this it works. My face is super clear now and I noticed the change after three days.

Been using it for YEARS!
My mum has been a fan of this toner since she was a teenager and I’ve been using it since I was a teen myself. We’ve been using this product even before they started marketing as a facial toner in the yellow bottle. This is by far the BEST witch hazel brand on the market. They might not hold the largest share (though they should) in my opinion only because they just don’t have a good marketing plan. Looking at the ingredients of this product alone should make you purchase Dickinson’s over other hyped brands. This bottle only has natural witch hazel alcohol, emphasis on NATURAL. All the other brands ADD alcohol (not natural) to their products which makes them drying! That’s also why Dickinson’s witch hazel is NOT drying to the body. I use it every day and night after washing my face and sometimes (and more often then I’d like to admit) in place of washing my face. I also use this a lot more during the summer as a way to refresh my face an feel clean after sweating a lot. I even brought the spray version for an on the go refreshing spray that I use ALL the time in the summer. I highly recommend this product!

The best
I've tried a lot of different witch hazels but Dickinson's is the best. I use it twice a day on my face to keep it clean and soft and after I shave my underarms and legs because it cools the skin and stops razor bumps. I recommend it for men to after they shave or just because.

Effective product, bargain price!
Like for most, this product caught my eye because of the price. I was previously using Thayers, which is a great product for sensitive skin, but ranging from $10 to $15 for a 12 oz bottle, it gets a bit pricey. That said, I bought my first bottle of Dickinson's hoping it would be a good replacement toner for me since I have sensitive skin that burns and peels with harsh toners. So far, this product has worked well! It does not burn and has not made me peel. Frankly, I think it has done wonders for my skin and cleared it up significantly. Arguably, even better than Thayers! Fast forward a few months, I bought this product for my mom since she was looking for a good toner as well. I recommend giving it a shot. I'm definitely buying this product again!

Learned of this from my mother, so it is a really old-time remedy! Just works great. Cleans oiliness and pores and your shedding layer of skin. Better than soap. Also a great hair rinse.

Doesn't over dry sensitive skin
Although I have very sensitive skin there isn't any problem using this twice daily. Just a small amount on a clean cotton round control's excess oil, and leaves skin supple. I love this product!

You can get over the smell for the results it gives.
This has helped towards clearing a bout of adult acne I was suffering from. I apply onto cotton pad morning and evening after cetaphil cleanser. Yes it does have a woody natural smell when you are wiping over the face but once it's dried in/evaporated away I don't smell it. If you're looking for the luxury manufactured smell then look elsewhere, if you want something calming and soothing that is more natural (and as a result less expensive) then I would highly recommend this product, bottle is a great size for price. My skin has not only cleared of the active blemishes but the scarring and dullness also caused by problematic skin has decreased considerably. My skin is clearer, brighter, tighter and more even as a result of using this as my toner after cleansing. I will be repurchasing.

Wow!
Ok, so after reading a magazine article about witch hazel I came to amazon to read some reviews and decided to try ordering a bottle to see what the fuss was about... Well let me tell you this stuff is amazing! After only 1 application I could already see a difference in the size of my pores, and my adult acne started to dry out, and bonus my skin felt so smooth, like a baby's. I have been using this twice a day for about a week now and my skin is getting better and better, it's incredible. I will definitely order more in the future. Side note about the fact that some people say it smells bad : personally I don't get a smell of it at all, but my daughter says it stinks so I guess it's one of those things where it will bother some people and not others

Everything seems to be in order.
Recieved today and I must be honest - I was expecting this to be a glass bottle but that's nothing against the product or the seller by any means. It doesn't even matter that it's not. Why did I even mention it? ???? Anyway, I used this product for the first time this evening and my face hasn't melted off. I suppose the proof will be in the pudding and it'll take some time to see if this is as good for my skin as people claim it will be. Some people here are complaining about the smell. I actually expected it to smell a lot worse. The witchhazel products I'm used to have that overpowering smell of alcohol, the kind that makes your eyes feel cold. This doesn't smell of alcohol at all (to me). The only scent is quite an earthy, woody one which might catch you off guard at first (it did, me) but I forgot all about it after smelling it a few times and then finally using it. If I have any problems then I'll update this review. But I imagine it's going to do what it says on the tin just fine.

Great
I've been using this toner for a few months now and it has definitely become my first choice for toners. Yes, it does have a VERY strong scent of witch hazel but that's perhaps to be expected given the ingredients! In any case, it isn't an unpleasant smell and it does quickly fade. I've often found with some toners in the past that they irritate my skin and leave it red and prone to breakouts. That's why I had been using Simple toner for years as it was one of the few toners which my skin seemed to tolerate. However, I was looking to see if I could find a new toner which might prove better value for money as Simple toner can be a bit more expensive than a lot of others. That's how I came to try this toner as, although it might seem expensive at first glance, the bottle is very large so it does work out cheaper in the long run. I've found I actually prefer this toner above others as not only does my skin tolerate it, it seems to love it! It becomes really soft after applying the toner and doesn't feel dried out at all. My skin also looks clearer but who knows whether that's down to the toner or the cleanser or the moisturiser! In any case, I'd highly recommend giving this toner a go.

Not the best scent but does a job..
If you wet shave then chances are you'd have heard of Dickinsons. It's a great product. I'd recommend using after the Alum and before applying after shave. A little goes along way. Use sparingly. What does it do? Tightens the skin, closes pores. Refreshes the shaved area. Great stuff!! Loads of uses for all the family. YouTube is your friend..
