Easy to put on and off, and the 'clips' don't come off at inconvenient times
After buying my first, I've put aside the other suspenders I own -- The ones with spring clips for attaching to trousers, Those clips would often come lose, and though I would bend them to be tighter, that didn't always help. These merely slip under your belt (can't be attached without a belt) quickly and easily. The only down side is that they come off just as easily, so if you need to do something in the bathroom that requires dropping your trousers, the suspenders will essentially fall off. Since it's not a big deal to put them on or off, I just take them off before "dropping trou" and put 'em on again when I'm done. I initially bought black, but ordered blue and red off Amazon. The red is certainly red, but the blue is navy, and so dark it doesn't really read blue except in bright light -- Not a big deal for me, but if you wanted a lighter shade of blue, this ain't it.

Does the job, but doesn't stay attached like the bite style does.
I got these for my son's snow pants. They work fine once they are on and I was looking for something that was "cooler" than standard suspenders and I felt like the hook style attachment fit that bill. However, the problem with that hook style is that they don't stay attached when you're not wearing them, so each and every time you have to fuss with them to reattach them. An oversight on my part, but it's still a significant difference to the standard suspender attachment that bites the belt instead.

good quality at a good price
These really... hold my pants up. Seems like quality materials and workmanship. You do need a belt, but they won't damage your pants like the clips do and don't slip off. I've only used them a couple times, but they seem pretty durable. Time will tell.

Everyday wear
I have had a pair in black forever now and recently go these in brown. Love these so much. I'm a big guy and have worn suspenders to work for years. Used to have to deal with the clip on one's damaging my belt or waist band. These stay nice and secure and don't damage anything. I really have no complaints with these.

Five years of daily use
I have worn a pair of these almost every day for over five years now, and they are as good as new. I really like how easy they are to put on and take off compared to other styles (snaps or buttons). Of course, you must be wearing a belt to use these but I do anyway, for appearance. I see that they have gone from $10 to $12 over that five years. They are still a bargain.

Great
These are great. They hold your pants up exactly as expected, they're no more uncomfortable than any other pair of suspenders, and the clip fits around the underside of your belt--and the clips are flat. They don't tear up your shirt in the back, the way traditional metal clips do, and they don't unclip while you're walking. I'd definitely buy these again, but I don't need to since they're so sturdy. It's been months, and they're just like new.

Good, but Small.
I bought these suspenders to hold up my winter work pants while walking to the bush. Hooks are different but seem to hold and them seem well built. The only issue is that they are small. I am 6’2” and 225lb. I have them on max length and they just barely are long enough. Overall they work for me and I will continue to use them but for anyone who is bigger then me they may be too small.

One size "DOES NOT fit all"
The product is good, therefor 3 star but no indication of how long in length of the body of the wearer should be for the" one size fits all " ( only one size made). I am just 6 foot tall but from belt position on front to back over the shoulder measures 49 inches. the product is at max length, and had no further lengthening available. I am in two minds weather to return or keep.
