Accurate Sizing, Tight Fit

These are definitely not a 'Relaxed Fit' not that they claim to be. I normally wear a size 32 Dickies relaxed fit. I've been buying the 'Duck' relaxed fit cargo pocket shorts for years but for some reason they have been unavailable for quite a while now. I've tried a couple other versions of Dickies cargo shorts but was unhappy with the fit. These looked like the closest replacement to the 'Duck' cargo shorts. It appears they are almost the same design, lighter material though. The thing i like about them is they have strait leg openings. Some of the other Dickies shorts have narrowed the opening at the bottom of the leg to be trendy i guess? They didn't on these. The inseam is also fairly accurate. That being said, I could barely squeeze into these. I took the time to measure the waist from center of button hole to center of button, out of curiosity. They measured 33" so they are pretty true to size. I guess the relaxed fit dickies shorts run quite a bit larger instead. Recommendation, if your looking for a replacement for and are used to the fit of the 'relaxed fit' Duck cargo shorts, go a size or two larger on these. Did knock a star off because the stitching on these shorts is horrendous. They dont look like they will fall apart anytime soon, but they were either stitched together completely in under two minutes or i got the new guy/girl in training. I'd still buy them but jeesh. Theres enough leftover, hanging threads inside the shorts to completely stitch together another pair. Come on Dickies...where is your quality control?

Big Guys have no fear.

I just received my shorts and they'r better than i expected I am a big man 52 waist i bought a 54 i like'em roomy these are perfect I am 6'1 and they still come just past the knee. the fabric IS NOT stretchy theres actually a a stretchy liner in the waist so its not like wearing spandex just slightly stretchy waist band. and seat and thighs have plenty of room to move I have just found my new summer shorts... Thanks Dickies From A BIG GUY..

Just my opinion

These are super comfortable but I’m glad I ordered up a size. Only other complaint is the length, I’m 6’3” and these still go past the knee. Honestly tho they are great for the price

Good working shorts

Front bottom came off the second day I wear the pants. It happen to 3 out of 5. A bit to tight the hole of the bottom. Other then that pants are great.

Great fit!

My son loves these shorts. He wears them for work. He said they are comfortable and fits good. He is a size 33 but had to buy a size 34. He said that was okay and that is what belts are for.

Flex fit = great fit

I have been trying to find a better solution by Dickies and this is the answer! For short pants lovers this is very great. I usually get the Dickies Men's 13 Inch Loose Fit Multi-Pocket Work Shorts. And I prefer the cargos over the work shorts by a landslide. Cargo shorts are made very well. Material seems very durable and color is nice. Last but not least very very comfortable!

More pros than cons on these work shorts...

Pros: -Waistband has some give. Good for bending or crouching w/o feeling too restricted. -Tunnel belt loops are actually made wide enough for regular sized belts to fit right thru. -Leg openings aren't too wide or too narrow. It has enough space to fit comfortably & while moving about. -11" inseam goes just at my knees. Decent length. -Cellphone pocket is just big enough to fit a Samsung S7 or small tools at work. Cons: -Zipper fly is somewhat short. Can be problematic when going to the bathroom.

These are great, good comfortable fit, tons of pockets, and really durable material. These are great for hanging out in the garden, or getting tons done, I’m going to buy a few more pairs!
