Alternative, non-hair Use!
Good price. I use as miniature landscape / sod staples to anchor grass sprigs in bald spots in the lawn, to keep the mower from ripping them out before they are firmly rooted in. I also use for holding plant cuttings in place in the pot when propagating new plants.

Really sturdy
These are really butch hairpins. And they are mercifully short - an important consideration if you don't have a massive bun. I can still stab myself in the scalp if I'm not careful, but less frequently than I have done with longer pins. They are resistant to being bent if they are stuck in a position where they stick out. The included case is nice to corral all the pins in, although I still find them scattered over my bed and bathrooms. But that's on me. The color might be a little dark if you have really light blond hair, but it matches mine almost perfectly.

These hair pins are great depending on what you are looking for.........
These hair pins come in a clear container and the clips are free/not bound in this container. The pins hard made with a harder metal unlike some hair pins that you can bend easily. I like these pins because they have the hard ball on the end of the pin. This helps with making sure the pins don't slip out as easy as those pins without them. The pins are pretty short (1-3/4 inch) so if you are working with long hair, or trying to do "up-do" hairstyles, high buns, or things similar I suggest you get a longer length pin as you will find yourself continuously pushing these pins back in your hair. *Overall I like this product, it didn't work for the style I had but I know I will use them *fyi, the hair I was trying to pin up in a bun was faux locs

Holds locs
They were perfect for what I bought them for. My boyfriend’s locs are waist length and he likes for his hair to be in a bun. I usually wrap and stuff but it hasn’t been working. These worked great reinforcing its placement! They’re not really brown but more like a brass. The metallic look makes them look cute if you keep your placement constistent

Hairpins are hard to find! Checked every place locally, even online. Purchased 3 different ones from Amazon that were too heavy for my hair and the thickness didn’t work for. THEN I saw these! The sheerness and size are PERFECT! The price is great, too!
