A great trimmer string that has "slickness" to allow enduring operation without binding

I've grown frustrated with other brands of trimmer string because it will bind in the spool, and not allow itself to be released outwards. This brand has a "slickness" that allows it to feed out reliably. I'm SOOO happy to not have to re-wind the spool after a few feet of use.

.080" line is fine, but winding it onto dewalt spool is not easy.

The replacement .080" line is fine, but winding it on the dewalt trimmer spool is difficult. If I had to do it over, I would not have bought the dewalt trimmer. Other brands make it much easier to replace/replenish the trim line.

Good to have fresh line

I have some Ryobi line that is ~6 years old. It is stiff and breaks fairly easily, slowing down the work. This stuff is much more pliable and should last longer, speeding my work.

I never thought any trimmer string was different then any other except for size--this string is so much better then common string that there is no way to compare--this is the real deal and works so well with my trimmer that I will never use any other--buy this string

Best one ive tried

This is the string that originally can with my trimmer. I tried a couple cheaper brands, but they just dont last as long and i ended up having to refill more frequently.

Keeps snapping off at the outlet holes in the drum

I bought this replacement trimmer string that is supposed to be from the original manufacturer of the trimmer. The original string installed in the trimmer when I bought it lasted quite well, but was used up after a seasons use. I bought this product, that is specified for my trimmer, and from the manufacturer, but it keeps snapping off at the drum if you don't feed it out every couple of minutes. It is a major pain dismantling the drum and feeding the string back out, especially when you end up doing it 3 or 4 times around each pass of the yard. The original string did not have this issue. The trimmer works great, so I will probably end up just using this spool up and then shopping for another option for the string. I've had after market products that were crap at times, but did not expect this from the OEM manufacturer.

Hyper durable

Before I'd have to keep stopping/starting the trimmer over and over and over again to do trimming jobs, but this one I can go till the battery overheats in the trimmer (About 30 minutes) and not have to stop once, had to sharpen the blade on the length limiter and even it struggles to cut the line and that's a razor edge. Just one refill of this has probably saved me about 8 refills of the standard stuff you buy in stores.

Lasts a while, I'll purchase this again

I've never used the cheap stuff, so I can't compare it that way, but this does seem to last a while up against the concrete foundation of my house. When you get into thicker weeds it does break apart, but overall I'm happy with the quality. It is on the more expensive side, but I've found that you get what you pay for. I don't go through much of it, but when I do run out I'll be replacing it with more Dewalt trimmer wire!

Typica dewalt quality

I wasn’t sure what to expect buying this unseen but it’s really a good product. Don’t use anywhere near the line I did with the cheap coloured plastic line. This is more durable and don’t seem to have any chunks flying off. I’ll definitely buy again in 20years since it will likely last me that long

Great product

I had purchased the actual string trimmer locally, but they did not have any "string" in stock. I simply ordered it here on Amazon and it arrived as all the package do - very fact, and no issues. Dewalt line for my new Dewalt machine makes sense to me, and having Amazon deliver needed bits, makes sense too.
