As expected

DEWALT is in my top 3 tool makers. These sockets seem to be worthy of the name and I like the case they came in. It would be nice if there were extra slotted areas for bolts or extensions or whatever random thigs one likes to carry along in the case but I bought this set for the Deep Sockets, not the case. I do recommend DEWALT hand tools and I would buy them again.

Nice set - just what I expected from DeWalt

I needed a "deep" socket set, with the sizes clearly visible on sockets... and that's what I got. I'm getting to be pretty "handy" for an ol' lady in her seventies!

Good tools but huge case

Great tools and the case for them is huge. But it worked out for me to store some wrenches and the 1/4 ratchet under the socket set to store in the van.

High quality stuff from Dewalt

I needed a set of deep socket wrenches for when I'm working on my car. These are great - well built, tough, and easy to organize. I just wish the case they come in are much smaller and portable, but great otherwise.

Box is too big

I had to buy socket organizers and ditch the nice box since the box wouldn't go in any tool box I have - such a waste of a nice box.

Vast waste

This is a good enough socket set, no question. Black & Decker, who owns DeWalt, used decent steel and did a good job of chrome plating. BUT... I subtact two whole stars for vast, wanton waste. The box in which these sockets ship... and are to be stored... is positively HUGE (13-1/4" x 7-3/4" x 2-1/4") compared to what it really needed to be. It's easily three times longer, twice as wide, and four times as thick as it actually needs to be. It's so big that the lid needs FOUR latches instead of just one. Really, there doesn't need to be this much plastic (which I can't even recycle because my local recycling doesn't accept polypropylene) in a simple enclosure for a handful of deep sockets. After all, I can carry nearly all of them in the POCKETS of my WORK SHIRT. Shout out to DeWalt: PLEASE start trying to keep up with the rest of society, which actually has an interest in life on this planet and the phrase "Reduce, reuse, recycle, refuse"! Don't keep shoveling plastic out to us, thanks! Especially since you CHARGE us for it! (Aside, to readers) Oh, yes. You PAY for every microgram of packaging you get with your merchandise. Stand up for it, accept less packaging! Even Amazon is catching on, and shipping in envelopes more often now than in boxes. Tip of the hat to Amazon on that score, there's some brightness there. DeWalt? We're looking at you. Follow Amazon's lead. MINIMIZE your packaging, and sell us conscientious packaging that doesn't end up floating in the Great Pacific Gyre! Sell us BIODEGRADEABLE packaging. Save yourself a big black eye.

Pongan más atención en sus envíos me quedaron a deber aunque llegó un kit de 3/8,1/4 que no pedí.

La herramienta se ve bien pero yo no solicite este kit ,solicite el kit de 20 dados largos de 1/4 mm. Es la segunda compra que realizó en Amazon y está me quedaron mal en lo que solicite.pongan más atención en sus envíos.
