Works great with Dewalt Orbital Variable Speed Sander
I’m a novice, this was my first time using an orbital sander and I absolutely loved it! I used the 80 grit to sand down the top of this table and table leaf. I probably could have used a 60 grit, but Amazon didn’t have that type in the Dewalt brand and really wanted that brand for my first project. I thought the longevity was good, I used several of them, but can’t remember how many since I also used some on another project. Honestly, I tried to sand this just using sandpaper and it was awful, turned on the orbital sander and it was magic! It took me about 2 hrs or 2.5 hrs, but again, I’m new to this so was happy I was able to get this part done. I also used another brand (Gator) for a different project and it was also great.

Flies right off after a short time
I Decided to spend more money on a known brand but regret it. I am sanding dry wall and the discs fly off after 2-3 minutes of use with plenty of grit left. So frustrating that I am sanding by hand now and making a mess because I am not sanding with my vacuum dust extraction. Edit: I changed my rating because I realized that the sander pad itself was worn down but it got worn down, because these kept coming off my sander.

It's 80 grit hook-and-loop Sandpaper for Orbital Sanders.
I posted a similar review for Bosch sandpaper. I see little difference between brands. In general, I exclusively buy sandpaper with this dark red resin to hold the grit in place. This "glue" seems to do a better job than whatever is used on garnet paper or the yellow Mikra papers. The most common complaints you will hear for hook-and-loop sandpaper are: It doesn't stay on the pad, or... it didn't last. These two complaints are often related and not necessarily a function of the sandpaper. More often they are a function of what is being sanded and the technique of the person. If you put too much pressure on the pad while sanding the paper loads up which in turn creates a slower sanding rate/speed and more friction. Some materials like body filler are inherently "sticky" and can load up paper very quickly. The high forces and loaded sandpaper result in friction which causes heat and that in turn damages the "hooks" on the sanding pad. In very short order you have sandpaper that won't stay put and is loaded up so it won't cut anymore. The answer is to use little to no additional pressure on the sander and take your time. Once you have damaged the hooks on your sanding pad, no sandpaper is going to stay on it very well.

Love this sandpaper!
This is my second purchase of this sandpaper. I bought the DeWalt sander that it fits a couple years ago to sand my porch and was very happy with it. Since then I've used it to sand other items as well. It sticks well, but is easy to pull off when it's time for a new piece. My local hardware store didn't carry the DeWalt brand, so I ordered it online.

Wear out faster than I'd hoped
Good abrasion but wear out faster than I had hoped if you are a heavy user like me. Still perform well, just know you will need a few more than expected.

Great Value
I have bought these DeWalt 5" orbital sander pads before. They work great on refinishing furniture and other wood items. They stick tight and do the job.

Good sanding discs, just watch the pricing they're very expensive sometimes.
Good quality sanding discs, they last really well, attaches and pulls off the sander easily. They don't gum up, and the surface does't fall apart on your work. Love using 220-240 grit - because it means I'm almost done sanding! Pricing for these Dewalt discs is all over the place though - I paid $5.50 for this pack sold by/shipped from Amazon, it now says its $17 - for a pack of 5 sheets! I've also been buying the Bosch discs, they're typically around $20 for a 25 pack and the quality is great - so keep an eye on the price and what you're paying for these. They're good discs and work great but they're not worth over $3/disc!

Keep looking
These last about as long as dollar store discs, I'm working on a white pine book shelf and I get one 35" x 8" board sanded and the grit is gummed up so bad after sanding 3/4 of it. Tsk tsk DeWalt I thought I would try my luck again but you certainly disappointed me for the last time.

The best so far
Trying out different brands. The Dewalt ones last better than the no-name brands. I still go through a lot of them so I can't really give a glowing recommendation, mostly from my own lack of anything much else to compare them to.

Doesn't stick to my sander
These seem like decent quality sanding discs, however they will not stick to my sander at all, so they are useless. The disc just comes flying off and then I'll attach a 3M disc and it holds just fine.
