Sconce

We have sconces. Ugly 90’s sconces that never get used… but when one broke, I was stuck trying to replace 2. Sconces are super expensive. Did a quick Amazon search for 90s sconces… and this one came up. It matches our other one and fit perfectly along side the other. Problem solved (well they’re still not to my personal liking) but work well… and I’m not out a fortune to replace two.

description is not accurate

Buyer beware: the description of this item is not correct: it IS ceramic (not glass as variously stated), and it clearly says inside the fixture: "indoor use only", even though the description says "suitable for damp locations". The packaging for the fixture is a total joke and it is a miracle it arrived intact, though one of the 2 I ordered was missing the connector that attaches fixture to junction box and had to be re-ordered. That said, it is a good-looking light, albeit much thinner ceramic that similar fixtures I already own. Time will tell. I intend to install it outside, but under the roof of my garage where it will not be directly exposed to rain.

Good at the price

Rating 4 only because of the price. It's very cheap but pretty flimsy. Still the shade is real glass, not plastic, and it matched my ceiling fixtures reasonably well. Serves mostly a decorative purpose for me, and had choice of hardware finishes. That said, the mounting is unstable. Secured by only one post and will rotate. Possible to have it bumped and cause shade to fall and break. I solved that by drilling an extra hole in the upper right corner of the wall plate and screwing it to the wall. Now it's stable.

Close enough

It was not a exact match for replacing a broken shade when comparing to my other 3 but the milk glass was close enough to where you really have to look to see the difference.

Nice fixture, good price.

description says: "Paintable ceramic frosted glass" I don't know how it can be both ceramic and glass unless it was like corning ware or space shuttle tiles. It is definitely a stucco (pebble) finish ceramic. Also, there are two mounting holes in the back of the fixture for the socket hardware to attach, and it was installed in the hole closest to the center making the bulb (especially if you use a 100 watt bulb) off center; luckily, it was not hard to swap it out. Looking at the picture, the socket hardware was originally mounted where the ground wire is now going through.

Very Poor Quality

The hangers are very thin metal and easily bend during installation. Cheaply made.

It's easy to install.

I used this item to replace my old wall light in the washroom with almost the same shape. Using the led light, it really suit my need.

great look better price

This the second house that I have used these sconces in. When I paint them the same colour as the wall they are very classy. Give lovely light and are dimmable. I just ordered 12 more.
