Beautiful

All of my exterior lights are from this line in Design Fountain and have held up for years, when I wanted to add 1 more light (new install) I wanted the same style, I did not look at anything else because I have experience with Design Fountain already.

Big and Bright

I got this for my front porch entry to replace my old hanging lantern that died recently. These are somewhat bigger than you average size lantern, they are ideal for higher ceilings. It's a great accent piece for my porch. With 3 x 60w bulbs (not included) it is very bright. It was packaged very well in a huge box, the separate glass piece was well protected. A little assembly is required; the cap must be unscrewed from the main enclosure to insert the glass piece from the top, then screwed back on. In fact, one criticism I have is that there are only 2 tiny screws holding up the majority o the weight of the lantern. If those ever fail the main enclosure will fall with the glass and shatter for sure. Installation tip: do not attempt to install this yourself unless you have experience with these types of fixtures or ceiling fans. They are very tricky to connect and hang and the instructions will be of little use. You need to know the exact sequence of steps before you start.

make sure your wall box is vertical

If your wall box is horizontal (outdoor wall boxes are a mixed bag) you will have a hard time installing these with the hardware provided. Luckily I had enough pieces from other projects I could work around it. the issues becomes if the box is horizontal, you have to make the two pieces that would ordinarily form an X, will now form an I and now the screws you need to adjust to a very specific length because of the caps (which are barely enough to hold this light on), will not screw in far enough because they will hit the other piece. so now you have to find short screws somewhere. anyway, it's also helpful to have another person with you because you will need someone to hold the light wire you tie all the wires together. I have a brick house so I had to be careful not to let the light dangle and scrape the house. nice lights though, so far they seem to be working fine

Nice outdoor lights that will not rust

These lights are great. They are made from aluminum, so unlike most of the porch lights you find at the big-box stores, these will not rust. I purchased these when I was searching for outdoor lights, that looked decent, and would not rust. I gave a few a try, was impressed with them, and went back for more. I have 5 of these in use now, with 2 of them having been in use for almost a year, and the other 3 lights for about 9 months. There are no issues with any of them. Their finishes still look fine. Inside each of them I have LED bulbs, and they look fine, but keep in mind, LED bulbs can be a bit directional, so they may not light the amber glass as evenly as other bulbs.

Beautiful fixture

Very nice fixture and seems to be of very good quality. Gives off very good light (We used LED Edison style candelabra bulbs that were 60w equivalent at 2700k). Some parts seem like heavier gauge metal than others. Gave 4 stars until I know that it will weather well outdoors without corrosion or pitting and because of a broken part. The product arrived with the glass shroud broken. Company did replace the glass, however I had to email a couple of times to get the replacement part and then to get updated shipping info. It took about 7 days to receive initially and then another week to get the replacement glass. Was very happy with the final product.

Charming light that's well made and inexpensive make it a winner

I live in Arizona and have a Santa Fe-styled home and these fixtures are the perfect match. The wall lights are very well made and Amazon had them for almost half of what I would have paid at my local Tucson light fixture store. Of note, these lights are very small and worked out perfectly for my backyard porch. However, I believe they are way too small for the front of the house and would suggest going up a size or two (eg 2371 or bigger). Installation was simple, but had to make some modifications to the mount to make it work for my situation. Lastly, to achieve a warm amber glow, you might have to use a lower wattage bulb. The higher wattage bulbs make the globe glow more white vs amber and IMHO take away from the charm this light offers.

Great lights!

I absolutely love this lights. They are sturdy, well built and nice. I could not be more happier with the lights. I saw these being used on some new homes being built in my neighborhood, and fell in love with them. However, these are actually better designed than the ones on the new homes. Would recommend!

Pas très grande. Idéale pour cabanon ou pergola. Installé un petit fluorescent torsadé à l'intérieur parce que plus court qu'une ampoule standard. Très belle fixture d'extérieur et bonne qualité et durabilité. La lumière générée est chaleureuse et d'une belle couleur ambrée. Un modèle identique mais plus grand et donc plus adapté à une résidence principale est disponible chez le même fabricant. Un must.
