Rustic Sculpture of A Swan That Is Well Made And Heavy

This is a finely sculpted statue of a swan stretching it's wings. There is some slight browning near the belly and neck so this is more of a 'rustic' interpretation. Moreover, the stone is more 'roughly' sculpted so that it's not polished rather 'gradient'. It is a very detailed statue of a swan, however, and is well done. Height of the statue is around 2 ft (~60cm) and weighs around 18lbs (~8kg). It doesn't feel like it would blow over easily in high wind and certainly not be knocked over by an animal. In general, a very nice swan sculpture that is more on the rustic side than elegant. Great quality and weight.

Design Toscano has done it again! The swan is gorgeous and very realistic looking. The sculpture is heavy and if placed on a flat surface is steady and unlikely to fall. I am saving my outdoor display until Spring and am still looking for the right place for it so I can enjoy it to its optimum. I highly recommend it.

Nice sculpture, flowers not as nice as the swan itself

This is a nicely made piece, it came well-packaged and is substantial without being too heavy - the stone-and-resin mix is a good compromise as it feels pretty study like stone but isn't as heavy, whilst still being heavy enough to not need weighing down with anything. The paint seems to have been applied carefully, which it often isn't with this sort of product. I'm not sure about the flowers surrounding the swan as I don't think they look quite as authentic, but I'll grow some real flowers over to cover them. It does look very shockingly white and I do think it might look a bit better when it's weather in a bit. The price is probably fair for the quality but it's not cheap. Overall I'm pretty impressed but think it could have been better and cheaper without the floral surround.

Looks a bit plasticky

These things are difficult to gauge without seeing them in the flesh. This is pretty big. It is life-size. It's around the height of a toddler. Mine is nicely painted but the slight brightness of the colours – which are lifelike – to my mind, give it a little bit of a plastic look. It may be due to the nature of the swan being white and the beak being orange. It just looks a bit plasticky. Seeing it in the flesh, not sure I'd invest. :-(

Whay you see is what you get

It is what it is. That probably best sums it up for me. The photos are accurate though maybe they don't fully convey the colour. This is pretty big but it is surprisingly light. It is quite sturdy and it does appear to be well made. i didn't really like the base that much but the Swan itself is quite realistic looking. This is quite expensive but at least it is quite durable.

This is a swan garden ornament that looks quite nice. However, with a current price tag of 135.00 I think this product is way too expensive. The detail is good and it does look grand but not 135 pounds worth. It is sturdy enough that the wind would not blow it over. This would look nice near a water feature.

This is step up in the world of garden statues Doesn't look fantastic face to face From a small distance you can see superior quality of this in comparison to the standard garden statue Obviously, its a water feature and would look at its best by a pond, however we have it on a stone by the edge of the lawn and it looks quite happy there.
