Arrived Broken

This wasn’t packaged well given its size and shape, better packaging and this might not have shown up cracked in several places. Also, this piece didn’t have the aged slightly yellow effect that the photos seem to promise, it is stark white and doesn’t look antique at all. Design Toscano is usually a good brand but I was disappointed in this piece!

Absolutely Beautiful Art Sculpture

I am gifting this Remoulage Lion sculpture to my sister for Christmas. It is perfect for her decor theme. It arrived in a strong cardboard box and it was well-protected inside a styrofoam mold thick enough to hold it in place during shipment. This sculpture is perfect and of very high quality. My sister will use chalk paint on it which is perfect for the resin material. I am impressed and would buy it again.

slightly heavy piece

I love this piece, it is large and fills in an emptiness on my fireplace nicely. It was very well packed and arrived with no issues. It is thick and heavy so that it is good thing craftsmanship wise but when hanging make sure it is well hung with proper hardware (it does come with things to hang it with) so it will not fall and break. Exactly as pictured and described

Simply elegant and very appropriate as a complement to a design

Classic and beautiful! I used it to complement a door pediment and it was spectacular. All eyes are fixed on the front of the house where the figure is posing as a complement to the pediment. I think that $90 for that item is a bit excessive, but it doesn't matter, in the end the satisfaction is greater, so it was worth it.

Nice DIY project, arrives in a solid satin gray paint.

Arrived safely and fast BUT the paint job was a solid satin gray, nothing near the marble look that’s pictured. I gave the whole thing a wash with some cheap acrylic black paint and a wet kitchen sponge. Dabbing it off as it died I was able to achieve a faux texture and highlights to the smooth surface. Next white and finally some green. I sprinkle cinnamon over the “moss” areas while the paint is still wet and lightly dab a bit more on top to add depth. Seal the whole thing off with some clear matte enamel spray paint and it’s a 100% better! Though it was fairly easy and somewhat therapeutic, I did not pay all that money to have to paint it myself. Nicely molded but definitely not level along the bottom as everyone is mentioning... I’ve yet to try and hang it just yet so we’ll see if this one the holes are level.

Great but color is cement grey

It's a great decorative profile. The lion head is very realistic with good detail, but the color was not ivory as in the website picture, it was more like a light uniform cement grey. So I've painted it with acrylics. Now it looks a bit more antique.

Beautiful but not perfect

I received 2 of these wall pediments, at a very reduced price, but not listed as "deals" or "used" - NOT coming from Amazon's warehouse, but rather (I assume) they were seconds - broken and repaired by the manufacturer. I can clearly see the crack in each, and where it was glued - on the front and back - and then touched-up. As they have only a decorative function, I decided to keep them, but I think they should be properly labelled as refurbished or seconds. Buyer beware. And the hanging - as noted by a lot of people, is uneven and one needs to measure or make a template to hang the piece straight.

Great proportion lion face

Great product. Up close lion features are terrific. I have obviously gold leafed it and painted it to suit my purposes but it's delightful.
