Beautiful!

It arrived on time and beautiful. The size was perfect, and I didn’t see any blemishes on inspection. I cannot wait to place my Marian statue on top!

The 'Perfect' size!

The first column was broken, the replacement is fine. The purchased sundial and original column were not compatible, the sundial was too big for the column top. This column's top width is just right, it's shorter but acceptable. Using a hole-saw cut 4" holes in the top and bottom. 1) Dug a hole and filled it with concrete, with an embedded anchor sticking up. 2) Set the column on top of the concrete filled hole, with the anchor protruding into the column's body void. 3) Mixed and slowly dumped a 50 lb. bag of concrete through the top-hole into column body. Cleaned concrete mix 'splash' with a hose and let the whole thing dry and cure/set overnight. 4) The next morning checked column top clean and dry. Applied a generous ring of silicone sealant to top, smaller than sundial. Set/centered sundial on silicone/ring. 5) Let silicone set for 24 hours and then sealed around the edge of sundial, to eliminate water/bug penetration. Done! PS: Didn't care for the grayish color of the 'white' choice, so put two generous coats of external enamel before starting concrete work. Looks clean and bright!

Colour Different, Too small for Dione Large

I love this product with the English Rose. I bought it with the large Goddess of Water statue. Unfortunately it is too small for the base of the statue. It wasn't obvious to me that would be the case as Amazon suggests customers buy them together. Also the colour is different than the statue ( a greenish hue) I like it so I will keep it . I wish the manufacturer would indicate which plynths fit each of their statues both in colour and size.

Top and bottom surface NOT flat!

The base rocks back and forth, so when u put an item on it, or not, you or the wind can rock it back and forth! If u, like me put a statue on it, the slightest wind or bump knocks it over and can break ur statue. I set it on my flat wood flooring and it rocks, it is not flat, either end!

Grande Plinth is the correct size Plinth for Grande Venus of Arles Statue

Looking at descriptions and photos of the both the large and small English Rosette Plinth it was difficult to fully recognize the size and shape difference between the two. I bought both and the small is almost too small and certainly too small for the Grande 39" Venus statue, the base of the statue would hang too far over the edge and would not look good or correct. The grande Rosette Plinth 20" is substantially larger than the small Plinth 13" just visually when you look at it in person and the 20" Plinth is shaped slightly different, not completely vertical lines as the small Plinth has, hard to tell this by the photos. The Grande Plinth surprised me is a good way and it is large enough to correctly fit the Grande Venus statue and looks very nice. I will find a use for the small Plinth but it is small, maybe a small decorative flower pot would work or a small statue up to about 24" I am guessing. I like the Grande Plinth is large enough to be seen and have a presence to it and works nicely in the garden.

Cute, but smaller than I imagined

It’s very cute and matches my patio furniture well. However, it is shorter and smaller than I anticipated, but that’s on me since I didn’t pay close attention to the measurement details. Since it does really complement my patio furniture, I decided to use it as a small end table. No complaints.

Perfect stand to be able to display several different arrangements so far. Very sturdy and the color is wonderful.

Lovely looking plinth

It is a lovely looking plinth. No regrets about buying it. One sad thing is that it was only after having put out sundial sphere ornament on it, we noticed a crack at the bottom of the base. I am not waying that the plinth is not stron enough to carry the ornament, teh damage could have happened during the transport. Sadly we did not check teh item well on delivery, so we can't complain now. We will still use the plinth for a lighter ornament, as it is attractive and will look good inour garden. To sum up, we do not regret buying it, in fact we can recommend the plinth,its look, the quality and the promt delivery.

Plinth

Service from provider good. Item arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. Plinth now installed with basin on top. We painted both items to unite them but also because the colour of the plinth is not great - white with a colour wash on tope which did not look 'convincing' or stylish. We have made it look great!

Light but sturdy

Great little pedestal. Used it for a statue in the garden. Very lightweight, so I imagine one couldn't place too much weight on it, but it was just what I needed.

A great product that can be used straight out of the box.

This is a fantastic product that can be adapted to your needs. It’s hollow but can be filled with concrete through a hole in the base or by making the hole bigger. Alternatively, if you’re not worried about security issues, the plinth will do it's job as a platform for whatever you want to put on top of it. We fixed the statute by digging a hole in the ground and then filling this and the plinth with concrete so that the statue could be permanently fixed. As you can see from the photo for a bigger statue it could be used upside down.

Shame it’s not the same colour as Easter island man but looks cool in garden with a little colour spray paint on it
