Worth buying. All steel, nice thickness, no forgotten screws!

Worth buying. I needed thirty of these: 3.5", 1/4" corners and I had trouble deciding which to buy in my price range. These turned out to be all steel and a nice thickness - the same thickness as what I replaced which were made in the USA brass hinges from home built in 1974. Many reviews for similar products stated concerns about missing screws or overly heavy packaging resulting in box tear upon arrival. Neither happened on this order. No forgotten screws and the package, though heavy, was perfect upon arrival.

They were a tiny bit to big

I bought these and the Amazon brand ones. The Amazon ones fit perfectly these ones the corners were a bit larger but both of them the screw holes matched up perfectly. A little extra effort I used them and they work fine.

Perfect replacement

I replaced the hinges in an rental condo as part of updating the place. These went in perfectly and look great.

Good hinges but couldn't get pin out.

Overall really happy with these. Took off a star because for the life of me I couldn't get the pins to come out either pre or post install.

Nice bright color.

These are nice bright hinges. True to color. They were easy to install somewhat. If you’re off by a millimeter with the screw holes you have to remove it all over to figure out which one was off. But once I got them all up it worked perfectly. I bought these to replace silver standard hinges shown in pictures. I like them so much I’ve bought more for my other doors.

Great value, look great and work great.

Got these to replace old gold colored ones to use at the same time i was replacing all the doors. They fit great wt in the existing cut outs in the door jam. Minor complaints, but the pin is a bit hard to remove and i had to turn them over and use a punch and a hammer to remove it before installation. Also, be sure to lubricate them as they started to squeak not too long after install. However, some 3in1 oil fixed it right away and now they glide silently. They seem like they will hold up well over time but i have only been using them for probably 3-4 months.

Exactly what we needed.

Black hinges for the door of a black and white bathroom. Important for us was the removable pin. Half of the old hinges are imbedded in the frame. We cleaned them with paint remover and a wire brush, then painted them back. If pin was not removable some (aren't) we would have been out of business. Cleaning the replaceable half hinge would have been a big job.

Not oil rubbed bronze!

I received my hinges today and was extremely disappointed with the finish and general quality overall. These are not even a little brown, they are flat black. The hinges squeak out of the box, and have a rather rough finish with obvious tool marks. The hinges do not mate well, and seem flimsy even for an inside passage door. But really, the big problem is that they are not oil rubbed bronze in color or otherwise. They are clearly matte black. The description panel that describes the oil-rubbed bronze process should be ignored, these are cheaply painted steel. The hinges are not rubbed, not bronze, and definitely not oiled. As such, if you try to use these in a bathroom or other high humidity space, expect rust in your near future. The hinge pins are clearly inflexible, and the finish is so thin that it is evident trying to remove the pins will result in scratches. I did not waste my time trying. The best thing about these hinges is they are dirt cheap. I didn't expect perfect, but I did expect something brown-ish. Oil rubbed bronze should not be anywhere in the description, it is utterly misleading. On the other hand, if you want to put some cheap, dark hinges on a closet/hall door these might work.

As good as any

I was very impressed with these hinges for a good price. They are as good as any other house hinge and the screws are also supplied. Well painted also. Pins are removable. Good product, fast delivery, good price. I would recommend these.

Great product!

I originally ordered another brand that got lost....and opted for these... expedient delivery...the hinge pin required a bit of effort to remove...but the hinges fit perfectly in place of the removed copper/gold hinges. Used hammer and dowl to remove the hinge pin, then oiled the pin for easy insert. Definitely a secure hinge, and solid for the price....no wiggle movement! Very happy! Did the installation with no assistance.Five doors had the hinges replaced!
