Very poor design and mechanicals for such an expensive faucet. Do not purchase this unit.

I am extremely disappointed with this "high end" product. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS OVERPRICED FAUCET. Pros: 1.) The Faucet is quite elegant and heavy gauge. The overall faucet design is pleasant. Cons: 1.) The instructions are inadequate. In fact, they demonstrate a different faucet. For this price I expect better detailed literature. 2.) Although the mechanism of tightening the valves is easy, it does NOT result in a tight fit. Valves move despite allowing days of "maturing" and continued tightening. 3.) It is difficult to bend the corrugated copper tubing with out compromising it. Even with a small pipe bender, I ended up cutting the corrugated tubing off and plumed for 1/2" braided lines. The instructions say use 10"-16" total distance centers. However, they then refer you to the trim spec sheet for "minimums". This sheet recommends tighter centers. 8" total distance or 4" center from individual valves. Plan on not using the corrugated copper on small centers. 4.) Instructions say valves will fit in a hole up to 2 1/2" deep. Really? My decking was 2" thick and it was a tight fit. I would avoid installations deeper than 2". 5.) The faucet instructions show pictures of a different unit. This is important to have proper orientation of the handles on this unit. 6.) The handle bases have nothing fixing them to the valve stem. They simply fit in a detent which is very sloppy. Despite tightening the "set screw" (which holds the valve assembly in place) the bases have significant play. Terrible, cheap appearing and likely to leak in the future. 7.) When only hot or cold water is running, the stream from the facet is deviated to one side making the unit appear as a "cheap" faucet. Simple hydrodynamic designs changes would remedy this problem. 8.) The hand held shower head is light, feels and looks cheap. In fact, it appears to be identical to an off brand, inexpensive faucet I also purchased from Amazon. 9.) The tilted setting of the handheld shower head in my opinion, looks awkward. In order to change to an upright position a different hose connection is necessary. I am so disappointed with this faucet set. I realize that at first sight my complaints may seem trivial and over critical. However, for $700 facet I expect much better. I have a $300 facet on another tub. Its installation was simple, the facet components are tight. Overall this less expensive faucet looks and functions better. I strongly recommend NOT purchasing this overpriced and poorly designed faucet. DO NOT PURCAHSE THIS FAUCET. IT IS NOT WORTH THE EXPENSE. Follow up. I have been using this faucet for several months. I had hoped for better results. I have found even more issues. 1. Engaging the shower valve is very difficult. The lever is poorly machined and is loose. If not pulled completely verticle, the valve will not open. It takes considerable force to lift the lever. Also, the lever is positioned so close to the faucet head that it's awkward to lift. My wife won't even use it. 2. The poor design for fixing the valves to the tub deck continues to be problematic. I have retightend them and finally resorted to 3M marine adhesive. I am planning to remove this faucet and replace it with another faucet (NOT DELTA). Please, save yourself time, money and headache and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

Good looking faucet

I just got this installed in my new bathroom. The design is what caught my eye. Very clean looking and it had a shower head which I liked for when I clean the bathtub. Overall, it has worked ok for me. The flow of water coming out looks like it is folding over which looks cool. The only downside to this is that the faucet is not aerated. Because it is not aerated, it tends to splash more water around causing one to wipe down the surrounding areas a bit more. Again, you are swapping out the aeration for the pretty water look flowing out of the faucet. I got used to it and know how to maneuver around to minimize the splashing. Deep tub helps too. I would say though that this would not be a good idea if it will be the main faucet for your little kids. Lots of splashing which they would probably not be able to control. For the looks, I would recommend it. If you want aerated, then look somewhere else. Personally, I like it for my bathtub Cheers!

Delta T4753 Vero Roman Tub with Handshower looks great and I was very excited when I found it. I always trust Delta, I think their products are generally quite good! Not this time, unfortunately. The problems started from day one. The most annoying is that it is very hard to pull the switch for the hand shower.The switch also does not return to right position most of the times. I have to manually push it back. The other flows are - it's very loud and water splashes if turned to full power. Would not buy it again.

I was disappointed that the pull out shower attachment because it came damaged. Such an expensive product and the chrome was peeling off.

Great Tub Set

This is a fantastic roman tub set and is extremely high quality. Installation was easy but the instructions provided by Delta are not great. The diagrams are more useful than the written instructions and some parts on the diagram are not mentioned at all in the written portion. My only complaint is that when the faucet is open all the way it splashes quite a lot of water up onto the deck and near by wall so we cannot open it fully.
