Delta is bad on directions, Great on product
The media could not be loaded. There are a couple of important things that I missed and you may, too. This is for a single hole sink set up. I have three so I called Delta and purchased the plate that covers the other two holes. There is no sink stopper pull so you can't use your old sink stopper if it isn't a press to pop up. Delta sells them for 60 dollars + but I got one from Amazon for 12 dollarsBathroom Faucets Vessel Vanity Sink Pop Up Drain Stopper for Plumbing with Overflow, Polished Chrome Even though the set up is fairly straightforward, Delta makes it incredibly confusing with multi-lingual directions and hand drawings. Seriously, it's just not necessary to make this so hard but every time I say that someone likes to argue how simple it is to install. It's not simple if you need directions and made doubly hard if the directions are convoluted. The tubing for water flow is permanently installed into the faucet and you are directed to create a loop to make it fit the hot and cold incoming nozzles. That worked great (surprisingly) and there was no leaking. I did attach the blue end to the blue spigot and the red to hot. The dots on the side of the handle seem to imply that the hot is run by pulling the handle forward, but it's achieved by pushing back. No biggie but still, their logic eludes me. It's tall and attractive and they promise it will last twice as long as normal.

The perfect modern touch
Love the beautiful modern look of this faucet, and this height ended up being PERFECT. It did come with a small amount of water in the lines (which was really weird) maybe from testing? Otherwise I am very pleased so far

Pricey but really nice!
Nice finish and heavy! No hard corners that make cleaning hard. Installation is fairly easy if you are handy. If not the instructions may drive you crazy as they can be confusing, but not always. The faucets operation is smooth and flawless with what send to be an unlimited amount of positions for temperature and flow rate. I feel this is a bit overpriced at over $300 but at least you know you'll never be replacing it in your life time! Some quick notes. This is for a single hole faucet only. It does not come with the 3 hope adapter, which is a bummer. This faucet does not have a plunger pole built in and didn't have any place to put it. You'll have to replace your current on with a pop up as well as your riser pipe to get rid of the hole!

So Far So Good
The diamond vessel seal seems like a really great feature, but who knows when we'll actually see if this faucet is truly leak proof. Meanwhile, the faucet looks nice even though it is a magnet for hard water spots. Installation took me about 40 minutes as a reasonably non handy homeowner. Someone professional could probably do it in half that time. I also wish it were easier to distinguish hot/cold as the red/blue indicators are hard to see. The angular look doesn't work in every space, aesthetically speaking, so make sure that it fits your design motif first. In retrospect I wish we would have chosen something with a curvier design.

I look for a few things in a faucet
Having replaced a lot of badly designed plumbing in my house (mostly from Kohler, if you were wondering). I don't enjoy plumbing, so want each item I buy to be the last replacement I ever need to made. I look for manufacturer reputation, warranty details, product look'n'feel (it is easy to tell when a faucet is made from thin, flimsy metal or when it has a flimsy, loose valve). For reputation, I read through contractor forums. I don't care about word of mouth because a good marketing team with a poor product can buy a good reputation in the general public (look at Bose speakers, for example). I found that Delta is a well-respected name for use in higher-end homes, that their more expensive lines are "indestructible", and the builders rarely gets call-backs using their products (calls to return and fix a bad part of a home they've built). You would be surprised what you can learn from conversations online between people that do this stuff for a living. I also look for ceramic valves because I have never, ever seen one wear our or leak. While the Amazon product page doesn't mention this, Delta's spec sheet says: • Solid brass fabricated body • Diamond coated ceramic cartridge • Max. 1.2 gpm @ 60 psi, 4.5 L/min @ 414 kPa Hey, Delta, add this to your product page! Before mentioning what I like about the faucet, I want to express slight disappointment that the water does not release as a thin ribbon as one might expect based on the shape of the faucet. That would have looked really cool, but is perhaps difficult to do reliably. The faucet is very dense and feels very well-made. If you drop this on a tile counter top, you will probably need to replace the tile, not the counter. I understand that "heavy" does not mean "well-made"; manufacturers often weight junk products to fool buyers. The original Beats headphones, for example, had strips of useless metal built-in to fool people that didn't have the opportunity to hear the awful sound quality (they have improved since). With this faucet, however, I can tell it isn't a stick of lead secured inside. The handle is thick metal. The weight is balanced across the unit. This faucet is expensive, and one reason is because it isn't made of some kind of thin sheet metal with a pretty finish. Installation was similar to other faucets, though note that you need to buy an extra accessory if you have a 3-hole faucet. How do you know? Most faucets that are wider than about 2 inches are 3-hole. You can find the part on Amazon. I lean away from 5-star reviews for Vine products because some Amazon customers suspect their authenticity until they learn how the program works, but I cannot find a reason to drop even one star from this faucet. It is not cheap, but I'd pay twice as much to know I'll never have a leak, and to know that my grand kids (if I have any) will be retired before the valve assembly wears.

Delta Faucet
I'd been waiting for weeks for my husband to install it when I could've done it myself. After enough nagging, we opened the box to fine ONE PIECE. What you see in the image above is all you get in the box, except for the two long hoses attached to the bottom. It took longer to remove the existing faucet, it was that simple Plus, this thing is quite heavy and beautiful. It has a mirror shine and looks so very classy and elegant for any bathroom. We have a house built in 1963 with the oldest yellow tile imaginable, but now we want to get a new vanity just because of the faucet (the poor thing is slumming). This is one of those products that looks as pretty (or prettier) in person than it does in the photos. One magnificent piece of hardware.
