Perfect fit!!

Perfect fit for broken spout. It is difficult enough to find replacement parts now a days, especially in a market mentality of replace the whole unit vs fixing. This is a Delta item repairing a Delta faucet. Everything slid right together with no issues. It was an identical unit to the one that was being replaced. For those folks who would rather not lay under the sink to replace a whole assembly, this replacement part is great. It is unfortunate that sometimes, the replacement part could be as much as a entire faucet assembly. But at least I didn't have to lay under the sink and deal with shut off valves and lines.

Saved me from having to buy a brand-new faucet

Now was not the time for me to make a purchase of a new kitchen faucet. When my Delta 400 developed a leak on the spout at the threads where the aerator attaches, I at first thought I had no other choice. So I was delighted to learn that a replacement spout was available. The replacement was flawless in fit and finish. Go ahead and purchase the O-ring and valve seat kit and replace those items at the same time. The end result is a 30+ year-old faucet that now LOOKS and works as good as new.

Mislabeled faucet spout

The actual faucet spout delivered was a 12" spout in a package marked 8". Fortunately, the longer spout was usable for my application, so no return was necessary.

Exact replacement

Exact replacement for my broken spout. Installed easily. Fit perfectly. Always use food grade silicon grease when installing with O-rings to facilitate job and secure by Leland potential

One Part equals a New Faucet

It is Made in China, and doesn't have Delta engraved on it anywhere, but it is the perfect replacement for a similar spout (Delta Model 400) that was pitted from my municipality's hard water and had pin holes squirting water horizontally. Get a rebuild kit of o-rings, washers and springs and you'll have a new faucet. Don't forget to use plenty of plumbers grease.

It's great that Amazon has these because it's so much easier ...

These spouts used to be stocked at every hardware store for as long as I can remember but no more since Delta ended the associated faucet model's production. I even tried a local plumbing supply house without luck. It's great that Amazon has these because it's so much easier to replace just the spout than to install a complete new faucet! The new spout was easy to install, fits perfectly, and makes our kitchen faucet look like new again.

Easy fix for rusted spout

Exactly what I was hoping for - replacing a rusted out spout without having to replace the whole faucet.
