Delta Quick release faucet plug

What a godsend! This solved the problem of removing the sprayer hose from my Delta faucet and plugging the outlet so there are no leaks. Took less than a minute to install! Perfect and so happy I found this on Amazon.

Probably costs pennies to manufacture this plastic plug but it worked to get rid of the spray hose on my sink.

Perfect!!

My Delta faucet sprayer started splitting/cracking and spraying water everywhere and no one had parts to replace or repair any part of the assembly so a quick google search told me this is what I needed to just cap the stem. It was delivered in one day! I initially had it ordered locally through Delta but over a week later, still no plug. Ordering here cost me 5$ less and it just took one second to install the plug. It's been 5 days and there's no leaks or issues!

Works perfectly

This item allowed me to save face on a mistake purchase. The mistake was buying the Delta kitchen faucet 21996LF-SS with quick-connect sprayer; my second such purchase. Not that it's a bad faucet, it is excellent, the first of these Delta faucets is fully installed on another sink in our house. But the sink for this second Delta faucet does not have an extra hole for sprayer... duh. At first I just left the sprayer connected and let it lay, ready to shoot water, inside the sink cabinet. Then I had second thoughts and was about to either 1) cut another hole in the sink to properly mount the sprayer; or 2) leave the sprayer tube quick-connected, and then cut the sprayer tube a few inches below the sink, and plug the cut end. Finally, after doing online research, I discovered this quick-connect plug, which apparently was designed to replace the quick-connect sprayer line. Just what I needed ! … works like a champ; a little expensive at 10 bucks; but provides a clean solution. And now I have a spare sprayer-assembly for our other sink with the same model faucet.

Replaces the quick connect spritzer watchawhosis

When I replaced our spritzer thingamabob with a dishwasher airgap, I thought the spritzer thingy was just going to have to hang beneath the sink. But then I found this little cap that caps it off. When I was finally able to get the spritzer watchathing off by squeezing it just right (it’s much more of a quick connect than a quick disconnect), I was able to just pop this on, and it caps it great. So far so good a few months later.

Does not include necessary part

This plug cap works perfectly. However, there is a c-clip with "wings" that is essential to it working that is not included. The c-clip is white plastic like this housing piece and it clips onto the metal male end of the faucet that is below the sink. It has wings that fit into the square holes on either side of this piece. I broke the "wings" or "ears" on the clip during removal of the sprayer from the faucet. I was lucky enough to have an employee at HD remove the clip from a floor model and give it to me after failed searches at Lowes and Fager plumbing supply. I have taken into consideration that it is possible to remove the sprayer without breaking the clip, but this should be a complete unit. FYI, this part is the same for some Delta faucets as well. The clip is essential and not included. This item cost over $10. I have rated it accordingly.
