Good to have this available.
Purchased this item but did not use with installation of new sprayer hose assembly. The existing o rings looked and sealed ok, so I left it that way.

Fixes the problem
Part works, but no instructions. Part slips right on as long as you have it on the brass fitting correctly. Tabs should be pointed up (away from the hose) as shown in the picture.

Tiny little breakable part, holds it all together
Directions on how to install would be nice. Thank goodness for YouTube. Ordered this and a new sprayer hose, turned out I really just needed this. Wasn’t sure what was broken when I ordered. Will buy a spare for this, just in case, as it’s very small, and probably will break again if I fail to winterize properly, using in a motorhome.

Worked for my Delta faucet (Model 21716LF-SS)
I damaged this part when attempting to replace the sprayer that had previously been added to my Delta faucet in the kitchen. It's quite expensive for such a tiny plastic part and two o-rings but what other choice do we have? I've included a picture for reference on how to properly install this part. Notice that the two tabs face upward toward the faucet, not downward, as has I've seen suggested elsewhere. Also understand that the outer retainer piece has been removed from the replacement sprayer hose (purchased separately) for illustration purposes.

These O-rings were not locally available so was not certain they would fit my Delta faucet, but they were identical replacement

Glad we purchased this with the sprayer hose.
We recently purchased the Peerless kitchen sprayer and "thank you Amazon" for suggesting we purchase the block and o'rings with it, because we certainly used it with installation. I think the block and o'rings should be sold as a standard part of the sprayer hose kit.

I purchased a Peerless single pull down handle kitchen faucet in 2014 and the original block broke when removing the faucet (due to a reno) and the O-rings were hard and flat. Peerless (Masco) was going to send me a free replacement but it would have taken over a week. Since I couldn't wait, I purchased this and it worked.

Proper part but overpriced
Needed this part to repair kitchen faucet, but it was overpriced compared to others. Maybe thats why it was the only one in stock at the time.

Disappointed
I was disappointed that I was not able to buy this item on its own. I had to purchase something else in order to buy it. As I was in a situation that I really needed these plumbing parts, I had no choice but to buy something else as well.
