Great size and sturdy.

The lock dial needs to slide down when at 000. The front laptop compartment is perfect for me. I carry 2 laptops M-F and the compartment holds 2 laptops. The zippers in the front compartment are perfect for my supplies. The main compartment is large and there’s a separate compartment as well. I am excited to use this everyday as this will be used in place of my work backpack. The color is absolutely beautiful.

PRODUCT DIMENSIONS ARE WRONG - BAG IS LARGER THAN STATED!

Thought I had found a bag that American Airlines requirements for checked baggage on international flight would accommodate but product dimensions as stated are not true. A tag from Delsey, on the bag's handle, states what the overall dimensions - which airlines use - are and they exceed the 62" total. I needed to exchange this for smaller size with dimensions that would work. Should not have had that inconvenience. Consumers need accurate info before purchase. Quality appears good. Cannot speak to durability yet. Nice bag.

Efficient

I purchased this carry-on suitcase for an upcoming trip to Europe, It fits my clothes, toiletries, medications and puffy jacket (without having to use the expansion capability). My iPad, over the earphones with case, foldable backpack (just in case bag did need to be checked), a thick travel guide, a couple of magazines and some snacks. The suitcase is a breeze to navigate through the airport and on the airplane. I am so glad I got this and ditched the backpack I was going to use for this upcoming adventure. I took off one star as it did get its first scratch and some of the the coating came off. Not a biggie as I will just cover with a sticker, I had been warned when reading the reviews prior to my purchase that this was an issue for some. Liked this carry-on so much bought one for my boyfriend so he can ditch his laptop bag and have less to deal with on the road. Update: this luggage has been a lifesaver on a three week tour of Italy. As per my picture this fit under our train seats with wheels out and not expanded.

Free Wheelin’!

True story, set this suitcase and three others behind the car as we loaded up to head for the airport. This one rolls so easily that it headed down the driveway! It is truly free wheelin’. We love the outside zipper access to carry a laptop and work stuff, all the zippers are very heavy duty, and the workmanship is excellent. Best of all the size is optimized for international travel - fit the airline’s sizer like a hand in glove.

Great for a narrow subset of international and business travellers.

This is a great case for those who know how to pack and travel light, preferring not to be encumbered by large luggage or "oversize" carry-ons. Wheels are strong and the ability to drag (as with a two-wheeled roller) as well as spin makes airport maneuvering a little easier...as with nearly any spinner. This bag is a little shorter than most carry-ons, termed "international." This is a bit of a misnomer, as the days of foreign carriers having almost universally shallower bins and rigid rule enforcement seem to be over. Still, for my type of travel, I rarely wish for taller and heavier bag. It should be noted, however, that the internal dimensions may bother some business travelers or those that pack suits or dress clothes. Overall quality is good, and the large-toothed zippers are completely necessary to prevent early failure from wear. I would the handle to feel more secure, but it has great adjustability (three positions) and does not protrude externally from the back of the case. The fact that it is inside the packing area may bother some people. Internal packing and storage is clean and flexible. There is a separator flap that is zippered if you want to segregate items, and a traditional garment strap on the other half of the shell. Now, a note about the external front pocket: Only get this bag, with this feature, if you absolutely NEED it, and if you travel a certain way. Otherwise this thing is just going irritate you. The issue is that whatever you put in this pocket, shares the same space as that side of the case/clamshell. It is separated from the main compartment, for sure, with they nylon lining, but there is no "bonus" space here as some soft/textile bags definitely have. The result is that when you pack this bag near the limit, there really isn't any space left for you to use this "pocket." That said, if you travel internationally with a laptop, iPad, Surface, etc., you know that you still have to remove these items at security, if you are a pre-check or Clear traveler in the USA. I carry a very thin "minimalist" laptop bag that I pack separately in the main compartment of this case, putting my laptop and iPad in the sleeves of the outside pocket. This makes security a breeze the world over, as you are prepared for whatever the process is. However, the outside pocket only opens easily if it is unzipped all the way to the bottom...so, if you think this is convenient for grabbing items during flight, while leaving this in the bin, you'll be disappointed. Yes, you can learn to work around this, but many frequent travelers that I know have idiosyncrasies that are inflexible, and infrequent travelers...buying new luggage with the best of intentions...get frustrated very easily with things that don't "just work." Bottom line: Read the above, figure out where you are on the spectrum, and buy the case. Or don't.

Decent carryon

I was in the market for a silver mid range carry-on luggage. I did not want something super cheap and I wasn’t willing to spend $300 either. This was a nice option that did not break the bank and was still functional and stylish. I recently used it on a week long trip and it did well. There are a few scuffs from airline handling but not bad. I did not give it five stars because I thought that it sometimes did not maneuver as well on airport carpet. I also wish that the straps inside were in a X pattern rather than vertically as I think it holds clothes and packing cubes better - but that is minor. It still packed up well with room to spare and I had no issue putting it in overhead compartments as it’s pretty lightweight. Overall for the price, I am pleased with the purchase.

Ripped during the first trip

I rarely travel but bought for trip to Germany for surgery. As I pack for my next surgery I notice it’s ripped all the way down the side. I don’t over pack since I can’t lift much, so it didn’t take much for the seams to come loose. Also, the zipper for the front pocket arrived warped. I decided to live with it. Now I regret not sending it back. What the others say is correct in that there is very little room in the pocket once you pack. If the pocket is important, and you don’t want to crack your laptop, then you need to leave at least 1/4 of the suitcase empty. On the plus, the suitcase has more room but it renders the pocket useless. I don’t recommend this suitcase. It does wheel nicely through the airport and it looked good before it ripped. Those are the only positives. I am hoping Amazon will replace or preferable credit my account so I can purchase a different brand,

Telescopic handle hardly ever works

I had to order a replacement because the telescopic handle will not fully extend. FYI, I had to return the first one and Amazon processed a refund. I placed a new order to get the replacement. I have not used the replacement on a trip yet. But I have now started packing for an upcoming trip And I’m testing the telescopic handle again. Since the replacement arrived, the telescopic handle fully extended only *maybe* twice. It is such a struggle to get it to extend fully. 99% of the time, the handle will only go up to the 2nd stop. Thankfully I’m only 5’2” so the 2nd stop means it just comes up to my hand. This is definitely going to be an ergonomic issue for people taller than 5’2”. The annoying thing is if I had a tote that I want to add to the top of this luggage, the tote will be higher than the handle because the telescopic handle only comes up to the 2nd stop. Sooooo FRUSTRATING!!! I do like the fact that I can unzip the front part and it opens to allow me access to my iPad and documents without having to open the entire bag. The spinner wheels seem to maneuver well. But I absolutely hate the telescopic handle and wonder how well it will stand up to normal use. Considering the price for this Delsey, I shouldn’t have to put up with the telescopic handle issue. I have a cheaper carry-on trolley bag that I’ve used for 8 years on multiple trips and that one has no issues whatsoever with the telescopic handle.

Best luggage I have owned to date.

I reviewed this product earlier, however, at that time we had only used it when driving to destinations. We have now flown to Las Vegas, and used two pieces of the set of three Helium Titanium cases on the trip. Here is a summary of how they fared, and my conclusions. First of all, they are extremely lightweight, but that should not worry you regarding their durability - which on this experience is excellent. Due to the color, they did get marked up with surface stains where they rubbed against various surfaces, but for any regular traveler, these are marks that prove your luggage is important for utility over attractiveness. I think they look beautiful with the usage blemishes. Besides which, the color (while marking easily) makes them stand out on the conveyor belt at the airport, so I was able to spot them without any problem at all. This beautiful set of luggage ticks all the boxes for my wife and I; attractive, durable, distinctive, lightweight, and built with the best spinner wheels we have ever used. Highly recommended!

Well built but reduced interior storage.

*update Dec 10. I would return this if I could. It hardly holds anything because of the front design. I was shocked when I went to pack this case for the first time today. So disappointing. Nothing but a laptop or papers can be slid into front compartment andit leaves you with hardly any space in interior. So now I have to write this one off and look for a better case. It’s a glorified briefcase. I give 3 stars for the reduced volume of this case. It def gets top marks for quality and construction. Compartments are nice but this is more of a short trip business bag. I would expect to be able to pack at least 30% less in this carry on because of the side pockets and dividers. I really like the overall make of it but not sure if it will be viable for packing essentials overseas. Fully expanded makes very little difference. A good buy if you do t need as much space.
