excellent buy

These look so great in my home. I just repainted some rooms, so I removed the builders-grade grates over the vents. I knew I needed to replace them with something that looked better and these really fit the bill. They totally pull the room together and create a high-end look. Great buy.

much prettier than plain vents.

Product is nice, does not rust. Adds a lot of flair. It is hard to determine what size you need by just looking up so have someone measure it. I will not get on a ladder myself. My house is 100 years old ,so vents were different sizes. I had to return some, I had to reorder one that I had returned. I hope Amazon or the company that makes these do not think i am a nut. The bathrooms took 6x10 and the rest of the house took 6x12 with the exception of the living room. I was told to reorder the 6x14. I hope it fits.

Not so great

They look good but can’t handle much weight guy not much more then a 130lbs. The material has what looks like rust all over it.

Looks Expensive and Gets Compliments

Who knew how many people actually notice vents? I have had numerous people compliment this vent in our bathroom, even my 23 yr old brother in law, lol. We have brushed gold accents in our bathroom and this vent is a different gold, more brassy, but it is really nice and far enough from the other fixtures to not really notice it isn’t the same gold. Definitely recommend this vent. It works great and looks fancy.

Painting this thing was a breeze…

I’m painting my son’s room and Was looking for a grate that I could paint to match the ceiling color. This grate offered me a more masculine design than others at its price point, and I figured that if it didn’t paint well, I could charge the cost to the game and shrug it off as a lesson learned. Luckily for me I didn’t have to do that! It fit seamlessly, and screwed into the ceiling quickly and without much to any effort. I painted it twice for full coverage using a paint roller for cabinets, and it held so well that I didn’t have to touch it up or recoat after screwing the thing into place. It was worth the gamble!

Seems good

I still think grates and vents and registers cost more than they are worth BUT this does feel like a good quality product and it is a lot more attractive than other plastic options. Happy with it.

Beautiful and fits perfectly

Great on the floor! I renewed the hardwood floor of an open area and the antique brass finish is a perfect match with the new lighter floor. The damper fits well and looks sturdy even if it's made of plastic. I'll probably remove it anyway for it sits on a return air vent. Really, very pleased (especially since I paid 19 $ for it). Bought a series of 2 x 10 inch of the same model and finish for the other duct openings.
