Be sure you want a telescopic rod
Although these are nice looking rods for the price, I was disappointed that the pictures didn't show the white telescoping joint in the middle of the rod. You can see it in my pictures. Non-telescoping are so expensive. I decided that I'd live with these for a while and see if it bugs me. It isn't super obvious unless you're staring at it. I did NOT use the middle support on my 35" windows (used the 36"-72" rod) but did on the longer rod over my sliding glass door. Finials were a little scratched in places but you can't notice at 95" up on the wall. Overall look is great for the price.

Set does NOT mean two
Like some others have mentioned, the description is misleading. I thought I was getting two rods and was very disappointed to discover it's only one. I thought it was a great deal, but now not so much. Not sure about quality because I will probably need to return and get two of the same thing, so haven't installed yet.

Sturdy and attractive
This curtain rod is very sturdy and came with decent mounting hardware. It is ideal if you are looking for a modern interpretation of a classic curtain rod look. The length I purchased came with 2 larger diameter rods and 1 smaller diameter rod to slide inside the larger rods to make installation more sturdy for longer lengths. It came with 3 holders which would be necessary for full extension and/or for heavy curtains. I generally don't trust the style of molly most holdbacks and rods ship with. I instead use a screw-in type plastic molly such as an "E-Z Ancor" to ensure a more solid hold with no eventual sag in dry wall on jobs like this. But since that has to do with the hardware and not the product, I see no value in decreasing a star for that. I would absolutely buy this rod for use over other windows in my home!

Good quality hardware, attractive curtain rod
These are good quality and I'm happy with the way they look. They are definitely a brushed nickel and not a shiny chrome/silver as a few people asked. My only comment is that there is no ability to adjust how far the curtain sits from the wall. When we hung the curtains we realized that the curtains sit pretty far away from the wall and a lot of light gets in around the sides. So this may not be an issue if you are using them in a common space but if you need a blackout bedroom situation, I would not recommend. After having them a few months I noticed that the nickel finish scratches easily but from where the average person stands, it is not noticeable.

New or returned?
This is a decent curtain rod, and a good deal for the money. Only complaint is one of the rods had definitely been used before-- probably a return. Pictured is one of a few indents and scratches on the rod when we opened the package. It wasn't bad enough that we would return it, though I would have liked an open-box price if I knew that's what we were getting.

Perfect length and a nice finished look for any window!
We love our new curtain rod and grommets! We chose these because they are just the right size. Our living room window doesn’t have a lot of room for anything bigger, so these are the perfect size, and still give the rod a classy look! Sometimes it’s best to keep it simple, and it worked I. Our favour here!

Functionally works, but ends of rods were scratched
Overall product was good, and quite sturdy. Only thing is that the ends of the rods were scratched up, so the appearance of the rod wasn't good.
