GREATEST BLACKOUT DRAPES EVRRRRR!!!!
SEE MY BEFORE AND AFTER PIC TO CONFIRM THE BLACKOUT-NESS OF THESE DRAPES! My daughter can only sleep in absolute darkness, so once we upgraded her room due to second child on the way, I looked everywhere for drapes that were LIGHT COLORED but still BLACKOUT! I had used dark brown drapes in her other room which worked great, but this new room needed lighter colored drapes. I went to diff stores spending over $100 on a pair of drapes that claim to be blackout but none of them truly were. Finally I went to amazon (why had I not thought of this earlier?) After staying up all night binge-reading countless product reviews I finally narrowed down and took a gamble on these Deconovo Insulated Blackout drapes in the color KHAKI. The color seemed like it would perfect for the room but I was skeptical to find a light colored drape that would actually blackout the bright sun that faces her window during nap times. Prime had these at my door in less than 48 hours and I just installed and had to immediately write this review to tell the world how AMAZING THESE DRAPES ARE!!! To start, they are absolutely 100% blackout drapes, no shine through fakery. The KHAKI color is a beautiful taupe that is very close to how it is shown on the listing, the material is HEAVY AND BEAUTIFUL! I was so worried these would be some shoddy, creased up internet drapes made of crap material but no... THESE ARE HIGH QUALITY!! as good if not better than what you would find in the expensive stores! And the best part is you get TWO IN A PACKAGE for under $40?? Are you serious? Where have these been all my life? I am no longer going to that store with all the B's to spend over $100 on drapes that don't even really blackout... THESE RIGHT HERE ARE ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED! I'm a customer for life.... THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!

Instant decor booster
I ordered these in khaki, to go with a shower curtain that was also described as khaki,( the shower curtain had a tan appearance to it). It seemed when they were next to each other, in the cart, that the color was very similar. When these arrived, they looked more taupe, than khaki, to me. However, they are really nice drapes, that are smooth to the touch, and hang very nicely, so I decided to make it work, with the shower curtain. I wanted them for my bathroom window, to block the light. I have a large window over my bathtub, and it can get really bright in my bathroom, at times, as well as hotter, or even colder, due to the time of year. These really do help to block the light, and I am sure they will help with the heat and cold,( as other black out curtains, I have owned in the past, have), and they look great above the tub. They really help to boost the overall look of the bathroom. I really like the grommet feature, on the top of the curtains. These grommets are also a diamond shape, which is a departure from the shape of most curtain grommets, and really adds to the contemporary feel, and is so unique.

Perfect for cutting down heating/AC costs and promotes better sleep!
These make such a difference in cutting out drafts from our windows. Our room is much warmer with these closed in the winter, and if we keep them closed on sunny days in the summer our room is noticeably cooler than the rest of the house! They block out so much light and yet the matte grey color keeps the room bright. We use these with the eclipse curtain rods to bend the curtains toward the wall so there aren't any bright gaps on the sides, though it is tricky keeping any light from emitting out the top. We sleep so much better with these on during mornings where the sun is up before 7am and evenings when the sun doesn't fully set until nearly 10pm! That is Northern living for you. On the other hand, we also have a hard time getting up! Sometimes we crack them just a bit if we have to wake up early and need the sunlight to help us get out of bed. We bought these for our bedroom after buying some for blocking the light in our TV room. They are great in both places! These don't have the foam backing that other eclipse curtains have, but they work just as well! We prefer the color and texture of this particular curtain over others we have purchased.

Amazing, Soft, Beautiful, Draperies with the added bonus of being Blackout Drapes!
I thought all blackout draperies had the gummy rubber backing, but I was amazed when I saw a set of soft microfiber fabric blackout drapes at my local Bed Bath and Beyond. But BB&B wanted $20 for each panel! I bought a set of the Deconovo hoping they were comparable to the ones I had seen, and they were! And I really like the brushed "antique" metal finish on the grommets- everything else I had seen were bright silver. I'm waiting to install a new curtain rod set and then I'm going to buy 2 more pairs. With the Amazon curtain rods and tiebacks, it will be like having a new room! And I did hold these up to the windows and they black out just as well as my previous set that had the rubber backing, but these are touchable soft! They will look great tied back and hanging down. Each panel came with a velcro tieback- I didn't even expect that bonus. But if you want a set of six blackout curtains with gooey backs, they are coming to a Goodwill near you!

Just what I ordered
When I got these panels, I was skeptical taking them out of the packaging. They looked too thin and I didn't think they would stand up to what I wanted. I was wanting thermal, room darkening panels that wouldn't look cheap. These are amazing, only had them for a week, and already placing an order for another set in the family room.

Excellent Quality Room-Darkening Curtain!
I really lucked out with these! I've been thinking I wanted to hang some curtains because my bedroom has huge windows facing south-east, so I REALLY get the morning sun!! I saw these on Prime Day & without even measuring, bought them on a whim, thinking the size sounded "about right". Well, they are the exact height of my windows. It turned out, since I have 3 windows side-by-side, that the 2 panels weren't quite wide enough, so I ordered a 2nd pair & am overlapping the ends to connect 2 on each side. They are EXCELLENT room-darkening shades. Morning when the sun is beating in the window, just very little light shows through, and the rest of the time, it's completely dark. I love the fabric! They are like a really heavy satin-type fabric & really nice, soft, luxurious quality.

I must say immediately DON'T HESITATE TO PURCHASE! Only from amazon.ca could I purchase this type of luxury drapes for the best price! I was skeptical because of the seller and amazons low cost... I was literally speechless upon hanging. 100percent blackout even with the khaki. Gorgeous high end nickel diamond shaped grommets. Impeccable stitching and fabric. So elegantly soft and wrinkle free. Exactly true to the 54"×84" measurements on all panels and you receive two panels with each order. This completely changed my big room facing a sun drenched deck into something fabulous. Guests can not believe when I tell them the price. I will not call them curtains as this luxury design and fabric are drapes. Please follow the manufacturer washing instructions and they will last and last. I must add that when they are closed the khaki shade gives a flattering glow to the large room.

Second Time I've Purchased These
I love these curtains. They blackout light perfectly and they look sharp with the diagonal rings at the top. You do have to iron them before putting them up - but once that's done, they look terrific. The only reason I gave them four stars was because this second set came with a small blotch/stain at the very bottom. I just kept them because it was about a foot from the hem (and behind our couch). The first set had no issues and we purchased this second set in order to give my curtains more fullness when closed. The price is right for a two-panel package.

I've now bought 3 sets of curtins in a week! They're awesome. Good Quality, Thick, Blacked out, Super Soft, and same colour on both sides. I originally bought a set to go in my daughter's room and my other daughter's Nursery. (Was going to do 1 panel each) The colour I picked (Lavender) ended up looking better in my bedroom so I got another set (light gray) and ended up putting both panels in my daughter's room so now I'm ordering a third-set for the nursery. You can use 1 panel if you're window is small enough, but it definitely looks better with 2 then they're open. I 100% recommend this product! Good price, and fast shipping too!
