This is how skate shoes should be made
All the new skate shoes these days are terrible; after you're done skating your feet hurt bad. You, don't have that problem with these shoes. These shoes are like the shoes in the 90s; that held together well and had padding.

Nice comfortable shoe
It’s been a few years since I’ve owned a pair of DC shoes, so I figured I would give these a try. Have only worn them a handful of times but I really like the way they look and feel. The size is a true fit. Also, reasonable priced!

DC what happened to you??
Now I have never in my life, waited for a brand new pair of DCs to come out and snatch them up as fast as possible. This time, I decided to splurge and do it. Very very happy with the design, the design is awesome. They fit great, but the breathability they mention is absolutel BS(?) my feet ARE sweating more in these, than my older ones. But I feel that wear & tear may have something to do with that. So I'm hoping that these shoes get better breathability as time goes on. now what I cannot stand about these shoes.. which some people may think is minor.. is they shrunk the width of the shoe. I find that my right hurt hurts after just a few hours of wearing them. So I went and hadn't measured my older DC I think they're the court graphics, and compared it to these shoes. And what I found is that these shoes are 3&1/8in wide. when you measure the sole on the bottom. The court graphics is 3&1/4in wide.. that's a major difference when you're talking about your feet. now as I have skateboarded for many many years of my life I'd have no idea why they would make the shoe smaller and with.. it's counterintuitive! you want more service area on the bottoms of your feet the grip the board better! I don't know I feel like this pair of shoes is made for people with little or feet, or they're just completely disregarding the needs of skateboarders.. so I believe people's feet have gotten smaller or DC has chosen to just go with the designs rather than with functionality for skateboarders. Less surface area on the bottoms of your feet = less grip! I mean come on.. Even giving all of that, I still gave them four stars because I just love the brand! ???? (Nostalgia maybe? ????)

Beutiful shoes, look great but are SYNTHETIC suede which is not durable for skating
This shoe fit well and looks good, but if you actually skate in them you’ll find that the durability is not what you would expect. I wish that dc would have been more upfront about the materials. If you are wearing casually there is no issue, however for skating they just made it out of a poor quality material.

Good quality, despite the price
Excellent value for money. Solid shoes that don’t feel flimsy or like flat slippers. Fits true to usual size and is moderately comfortable. The ergonomics of the shoes feels comfortable for everyday activities as well as skating as they feel comfortable pretty quickly from new. It is a good combination of a bulky shoe feel while still having a more slim profile for skating. Bottom rubber is grippy and seems durable enough to not get holes in for a decent time from skating. Only annoyance I can say is the seemingly pointless extra poofy top of the tongue, not a big deal, but it does kind of interfere with the laces or it will push forward if it isn’t. Overall well worth the money for a decent quality shoe. -future edit- After skating these for awhile I agree with the other reviewer mentioning that these are slimmer on the bottom. The narrow bottom has been problematic for skating as it creates less of a platform which equals less grip with some tricks and the narrower heel also causes them to be more prone to ankle rolls.

Great for all day wear
I don't review often but foot health is important so i'll give it a shot. I owned a pair of adidas many years ago and began missing the skater style of shoe as they don't force my feet into unnatural positions like a runner does. This fits exactly as i remember and i'm highly impressed by the price! The front area takes some breaking in so i used thick socks and a hair dryer to speed that up, took about 5 minutes. Also the shoe laces could not double knot with all the lace holes being used so i switched to some longer laces as i need them tight at the top for work. To clarify i like the toe section loose so if i kept it tight the original laces probably would have worked great. Unlike the other reviewer i did not find this shoe runs small, i got the same U.S. 8 as i always do and my toes sit right where they normally do. Do yourself a favour and pick up a pair!

Comfortable and good fit
I’ve spent most of my 30s trying to convert to “normal” sneakers but I decided to finally give up and go back to wearing skate shoes. I wear a women’s 9.5 and used to wear a size 8 in men’s but I ordered the 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

Muy padres! Pero…para quien vaya a comprar, pidan medio numero mas.
Me gustaron mucho los tenis de este color, pero solo habia 9, dije sin problema lea pongo plantillas y listo, me llegaron y me quedaron como si fueran 8.5, y aun vienen ajustados, pero pues con el tiempo dan de si como todos los DC. No imagino como me hubieran quedado los 8.5 seguro los hubiera devuelto. Compren medio numero mas.
