Works great, looks wonderful and gives total privacy.
I have a front door with nine small rectangles of glass that looks out at my neighbor's kitchen window and also his carport where he and his friends often sit. Not to mention anyone who might come up to the door and my house has an open floor plan so looking in you see all of my living and dining room and most of my kitchen. I wanted privacy so I went to the local Home Depot and checked the window film they had which were supposed to be privacy films. Well they had some examples up on demo windows and none of them gave much 'privacy' and cost much more than this did. Also this film is thicker and more easy to manage. I bought three rolls of this for just a little more than the price of one of theirs and this works great. I took only half an hour to do my front door and that was mostly measuring and then cutting. It was very easy to put on without help and no mess with not having to use solution and a squeegee. Also if it got slightly messed up I was able to remove, straighten the film and replace it on the window without a problem. Once done I waited until nightfall and turned all the lights on in the three rooms and stood just outside the door. It works great, total privacy. You can see very vague shadows but nothing else. I did have a thermal backed curtain over the window but now I have been able to remove it and get plenty of light in by day and no worries at night about people seeing into my house. I've put this film on the lower part of my bedroom windows that look out on the street in front of my house so that I can leave the blinds up and still get light in as my bedroom windows are low and easy to see in. Love this film. Okay it is months later and the film is holding up great against the southwest Florida summer heat and humidity. I'm buying more for out in my lanai.

Easy to apply with great results!
My front door has a glass oval in the center of it. Ive looked for curtains to cover it for privacy but nothing seems to look "right" on an oval window and I didnt want to block sunlight- so after doing some research I came across this product. While at first I was skeptical because Ive tinted car windows using similar film (which ended up being a nightmare)- this product is really easy to apply. First i just rolled it out to the length of my window then cut off the excess and put it away. Next you just pull the paper thats attached to the product off slowly (I did about 8 inches down each time). Start at the top push it against the window, pressing to the edges to get the air bubbles out (which arent a big deal anyways, more on that in a bit). After working my way down the window, I pressed my fingernail into the outer edges of the window to make sure it had good contact. Then i just used a utility blade to carefully cut off the excess and after getting rid of it i did one final press all over the window. Now on to the air bubbles- Whereas if you had air bubbles on a car window tint job it can be frustrating and annoying getting them out, but since this isnt nearly as delicate as car window tint AND it has a frosted look to it I couldnt even tell where the air bubbles are unless youre face is 2 inches in front of it and youre really making an effort to LOOK for them. And if you do have one, just take your blade and put a little cut in to let the air escape and just press back down to adhere back to the window. Or just do like I did and leave it alone.

Perfect Solution To Glass Front Door
I have a front door with a pretty window in the center which brings in lots of natural light. However, when someone was close enough to the door, they could see all the way thru my house especially at night. I didn't want to replace my front door since I liked it, so this film was my logical solution. I only put up the film on half of the window at first so I could make sure that I liked it. Well I LOVED IT! Light was still allowed in, but it distorted the view enough to not be able to see in. My only issue was now I couldn't see who was at the door since I don't have a peep hole. So I cut a small diamond out at the top (which is hardly noticeable) so I could see out. Easy to install and I cut it with a razor blade around the window frame. I also loved that it looked like that was how the window was made. UPDATE: It has been 3 years since I put this up and still looks great, with no issues. My front door takes the heat of the day sun. Would still recommend this window film!

Absolutely Beautiful and Perfect!
I used this on my front door which has three beveled glass panes and it is just right! Complete privacy without blocking the light. I was afraid to begin putting it on after all the reviews about air bubbles. But I didn't have a problem at all. I found it easiest to cut the strips larger than necessary and trim off the excess at the end. I started by adhering the top of the film to the glass, then I peeled off the backing of the film while pressing on the film with a cloth to smooth any air bubbles . If I felt any air bubbles I would pull up the film and re-adhere it. Then I carefully used a razor to cut the edges into place. Perfection! I just wished I would have purchased this first. Because I started with a film that cost twice as much that was way too busy looking. And the other films didn't offer complete privacy. Plus the measuring grid on the back was extremely helpful. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
