Sticky? Yes. Perfect? Also yes!
Having tried to paint the back of precious IKEA bookcases, I wasn't about to go through that again. I bought this contact paper on a whim and am so happy I did! It cut easily, and even when overlapping, the seam is invisible. Even when I measured wrong, I found it extremely easy to just put an extra piece on top and TA-DA, no issues. It took me a few days to complete my project, mostly due to procrastination more than complexity, but the finished project is gorgeous and I have no doubts this will last until I get bored and order another color, lol

Pretty, glossy, and durable!
I work in a public school, so my office furniture often leaves something to be desired. One of my filing cabinets was looking pretty dingy and had rust spots on the top, and I got it into my head that it needed to be hot pink. This was the only contact paper I could find that was the right color, so I bought and I am now in love with it. It is glossy and beautiful and stuck super well and I had very little trouble sticking it to my filing cabinet. I used two rolls for this project (full disclosure, the wood grain contact paper on the top is from the Dollar Tree). I did it a few weeks ago and I haven't worried for a second that it will scuff or tear; the vinyl itself seems thick and durable. I will definitely buy this again when I have time to revamp the set of drawers I keep my anchor charts in!

Great product nice glossy shine
Just installed today, we’ll see if it’s all still sticking tomorrow I’ll try to remember to give an update. This is a pretty thick product. I’m covering some old laminate and it’s sticking very well. I use the hairdryer to help to smooth the corners. It has a nice gloss to it. It really upgraded my room. Of course I had to order another roll because I didn’t measure first... The photos I added were taken at night, I’m sure it will be much brighter in the morning sun! UPDATE!!! It stuck amazingly! Holy cow! I actually tried to peel off a section that I had overlapped, and it was seriously tough to do so I am so happy with this product! And my countertops look like they were brand new… I’m pretty sure the contact paper won’t hold up in daily use but this is my laundry room so I’m OK with that! Thank you! I love my new countertops!… Well… My new half covered countertops, the additional roll will be here tomorrow! YAY!

you know the ones that hold 24 cans of juice and look like a tray
I needed to cover some boxes for school and these were the right color. Pros: it is very durable and much thicker than the ones they sell in the stores here. I had to cover these juice/soda boxes, you know the ones that hold 24 cans of juice and look like a tray, anyhow, I had to completely conver these boxes. I needed something that would last an entire school year and hold up to my five year olds wear and tear. I was very excited that I had covered one side really nicely. Then I had to do the inside...ugh that's where I kept putting the contact paper down and then lifting it up to redo it. I must have done this a few times and I was concerned it wouldn't stick anymore. But it is still stuck to the box and it's been two weeks now. Fingers crossed its still there after 8 months. Cons: do not overlap the contact paper. It needs to be cut so it will hold better and not pull up. If it's too thick it won't stay down. Overall, a good durable contact paper and nice bright green color.

Warning: Not Re-positionable
This red d-c-fix film was strong and sticky enough to patch a small tear in a canvas awning, placed on the underside. However, if the glue side gets stuck to itself, forget trying to unstick it like normal contact paper. I wasted a 9" x 24" piece because I didn't stop it when it started curling in on itself, expecting I could easily pull it apart. The gold standard in all-forgiving contact paper used to be the ConTact brand, but perhaps their patent ran out because now there are many cheap imitations that are thinner so they stretch and tear easily, and the glue is a bit weaker. In fact, the ConTact brand itself seems cheaper than it used to be. I feel like an expert on contact paper, since I've used it for decades on countless projects and wouldn't be without it, to cover worn or ugly furniture and containers.

Fantastic results, easy to use!
I used this on the top of a bedroom dresser that was discolored and in poor shape. At first when I unrolled it and peeled some back I was concerned it wasn't going to stick. It didn't seem very sticky. I applied it slowly, carefully smoothing out the air bubbles as I urolled it. It didn't stick to itself, but stuck to my dresser top perfectly! I left an overlap on all sides that I cut off later with an exacto blade. This method kept me from having to place the one long strip exactly straight, which would have been really difficult. I love the results! The red is nicer, less bright, than my photo shows.

Patience and technique are your best friends.
Not the easiest to apply at first but worth it. Those YouTube videos make it look a lot easier than it actually is. If you can, order extra for practice! TIPS: - It's very very sticky (which is awesome for durability) but it makes it unforgiving. So you want to remove 1/2 of the backing at a time, not more. - Use the tools it comes with (not a credit card) to apply. I used the felt side on flat surfaces and the hard adge on corners. - Go slow. It takes longer to apply but you'll save yourself quite a few headaches and wasted vinyl! -

Nobody Can Tell iI's Vinyl
I have hated my kitchen for 10 years but never had the money to reno it but this was an amazing alternative! I just love my kitchen now. The vinyl isn't super thick but its thick enough to do the job. I removed all my lower cabinet doors, side panels and kick plates, gave them a good scrubbing and then applied the vinyl. Use a rubber scraper as you apply so you don't have air bubbles. To do all my lower cabnet doors, drawers, and kick plates took about 3 rolls and a day to do. I did this about 2 months ago and have had no issue with peeling or tearing. I will be purchasing more in the new year to do my upper cabinets next!
