Doesn't stay bright all night

Read the description! Not for little dogs. Got no one to blame but myself! Didn't realize buckle would be so big. Really made my pup uncomfortable. Also, even after being in the light all day, glow didn't last long enough. We got it in hopes of being able to shoot the little guy wandering around the house in the night. Didn't work.

Instructions are lacking!

I purchased the FurEver collar a few days ago. We have a rescue black lab mix that I keep tripping over at night. Also, we can't see the darling when we take her out at night. The collar works fine for visibility at night inside and outside. The glow is about a 4 if I would rank on a 1-10 scale. However, the instructions with the manual do not give any detail to appropriately size and secure the collar. It tells you that you should cut the collar and that's it. This is what we did. We thought it was secure until we took her for a bath at the pet store and she bolted. The kind Petco Unleashed employee saw that the collar had openings that needed additional securing. We did this and hopefully all is well. There was no mention with the papers that accompanied the collar.

Awesome product! Very value for money!

Extremely pleased first purchase on Amazon. Received product safely in 7 working days. Seller is very efficient. Furthermore, considering that it is an international shipment, it is swift! Very affordable pricing. This product is way better than advertised! It is a perfect solution to my worries on the potential dangers of my pet being hurt at night. It really glows to an impressive brightness, in just a short exposure to light. It is waterproof, so my pet could get wet with it without feeling uncomfortable. Easy to slip on and remove. It fits nicely and comfortably for Shih Tzu and Maltese. It is aesthetically pleasing too. I only used it as a safety collar, so I wouldn’t know how sturdy it is to walk the pet using it. The free pet id tag was a nice gesture. However, my pet is very adventurous. Hence, the label and the plastic that affixes it dropped off and was lost during the first walk. It was timely as I could intervene by replacing it with my own pet tag. Overall, it is an awesome collar! Thank you seller!

Incredible, very useful, but not dog-proof

I've been using these for a long time. All my dogs have them. They are awesome, and very useful if you have dark furred dogs, as I do. They sleep inside and it was dangerous for them and my family to step on them. That problem is now solved. The only problem I see is that the collars are not very sturdy. I bought a new puppy who is a bit of a chewer, and he tore it off and broke the lock. And I mean, it's the bite of a small-breed puppy. I tried to change the lock, in a local hardware shop, but apparently this type of lock is extremely hard to find. But well! despite everything, it's a great collar, just not for heavy chewers.

Glows well, but feels like a balloon

This collar is going to do exactly what I wamt it to do, and that is make my dachshund more visible at night. The downside is the way the collar slides through the plastic belt buckle like a backpack strap almost.. I would have preferred a more conventional collar type fastening, but the rubber would probably tear if it had "beltloop holes" It seems like it is going to be sturdy and glow for a long time. My dog has already gotten used to it, and doesnt mind the awkward buckle.

Excellent visibility, no need for plugs or batteries

The clasp is a little difficult to engage and keep it engaged and the clasp portion is a little on the heavy side for our small dog (10 pounds) but the glow in the dark feature is exactly what we were looking for, no need to plug it in, recharges itself really well with normal household lighting or sunlight.

First one lasted 5 years. We did not hesitate to replace it with the same collar.

We have used this brand of collar on our active dog for 5 years. The clasp broke--after 5 years. We replaced the collar. It soaks up sunlight when the dog is outside and glows brightly for a short while, then has a nice, warm, very visible glow all night as well. It has prevented our dog from being stepped on in the middle of the night and allows us to see her across the yard at night, most of the time. It is more visible when the neighbors do not have multiple porch lights/yard lights/security lights on since the warm glow is not strong enough to compete with them. Perfectly understandable--this is not an electric device! Excellent product!

Buckle was difficult to secure

I loved how well the collar glowed after dark, unfortunately it came off outside on the 5th day. I haven’t found it yet. The buckle on this collar is different from the norm since the collar is not made from fabric. I think my dog must have snagged the collar in a thicket and pulled the buckle loose.
