They have changed these shorts

When I bought them in 2022, they were more of a cotton blend than the synthetic they are now and they've added a side pocket. I'm returning the XXL for 3XL because the fit's gotten smaller. The ones I purchased in 2022 still fit or I'd think I've gotten bigger!

Yoga shorts

I absolutely love love love The Danskin shorts, not to long not to short.. Perfect light weight ,soft feel Love wearing them when I go for my long walks. Or around the house with a comfy tshirt and sports bra.. The legs stay put and don't ride up.. I am 5'3 and weigh 200lbs ordered Large fit Perfect a little snug, but like the stay put fit. I have ordered many pairs.. Highly recommend!!

Just didn’t work for me

I have a larger tummy but thin hips and legs. These bike shorts fit my waist fine, but the legs were much too big.

Super soft

I love the fit and softness of these. They feel like a mix between cotton yet spandex like. My only complaint is that I feel a bit sweaty and that they don't absorb, or maybe it's that they are causing me to sweat because they are trading in the heat.

Wide waistband comfy, but too high in front; otherwise great.

I recently upped my workout frequency in the hot hot summer heat, and I was having to do laundry every week to keep myself in clean shorts. After checking out all the options at a local sporting goods superstore, I left empty-handed; everything was either too thin (showing what color undies I had on), too short and/or riding up (letting my thighs chafe), and/or just plain fit wrong. I came home hit up the interwebs for my good ol' Danskin stuff, and it's as good as ever. My old pairs are all mostly cotton with a little spandex. The blend on this pair has some polyester in the mix, too. I was afraid that might make them too hot (summer in Houston is really hot and humid), but I don't notice any extra heat, and they seem to not show the sweat quite so much as my mostly-cotton ones, and/or they're wicking better. The fabric also feels like it will be a little more durable than the no-poly blend. I've never had a problem with the legs of Danskin bike shorts riding up, and these are no exception, plus the fabric is thick enough to not show off the color of my undies. The side seaming on these is a little more flattering than your basic vertical side seams. The extra-wide waistband is all-around more comfortable than the simple elastic band on my old pairs. My only complaint with these, and why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the front of the waistband is too high. It's a perfect natural waist height in the back and on the sides, but it's the same height in the front, and my (and most womens') waistline drops down a little in front. Combine that with my modest belly pudge rolls (hence the increased exercise!), and it gets a little uncomfortable in front, and the extra width of the waistband actually makes it harder to fold down in the front to sit on my waistline.

Proper fit vased on reviews!

Stretchy ,cotton feel and comfortable.They are a nice length and I went by suggested size.I wanted something legging style but not full length.I am going I vacation in a few weeks Recently I've seen bike shorts become popular and being around family or friends on vacation I want something cool but appropriate.I got something last year but didn't like them so much.These feel comfortable and appropriate for company.You could work out in them but I dont work out.i got them for lounging and sleeping on vacation.True to size,fit well and I went by the suggested size on here.i wish they were a little lower rise but I can always fold them down if needed ,they are just for bed.

HARDLY ANY ROLLING even if you are fat like me.!

IF you have a bit stomach, which I do, but am losing, these can roll. You know, when the whole honking 3 inch elastic thing rolls? Then you know you are fat. At least I did. You can get really depressed by reading all the reviews and see who says "never rolls" and "just barely bent a bit, but no rolling." How fat do I have to be to get a good roll going you ask? Well, I was 185 and 5'9", with 40% fat according to my scale which has very little way of measuring that (electrical impedance only). Now I a svelte obese at 175...same height...and only 30%fat. The shorts do not roll unless I eat a huge dinner. OH, and even when I was 185 lbs, if I tightened my "core," and my stomach was flattened, there was no roll. I think if you are my height with no muscle to speak of you should be about 155 to be able to relax your gut and not roll the waist. I have to say, though, that these are very rolle resistant waist bands for most tight pants. I like these for the COMPRESSION and WARMTH, which feels good for my arthritic hips. I do NOT like the fact that they have NO POCKETs like all womens compression pants. You might get a key pocket if you are lucky.....not here. I like the price--I got them super cheap for a Danskin product, somewhere in the 20.00 neighborhood. Maybe on sale. Sorry if you did not and this review is less useful to you. DOn't you hate that?

Very Comfortable

Elasticity and comfort is perfect but the cotton material is very thin. Don’t know how long they will last. These may be good for yoga or hanging around the house but probably not for workouts such as running or cross fit - unless you’re already in great shape. I would buy again based on comfort and fit.

Comfortable but see-through

Although comfortable, I can not recommend these as athletic shorts. The material is soft but very thin and see-through and I do not feel comfortable wearing them for running or to the gym. They are fine to wear under a casual skirt or tunic, around the house, or to bed but expect everyone to see your underwear if you bend over in these in public.

Comfy but a little big

I like the material; I don’t get hot wearing these. I also like the length - they don’t ride up when I walk. These fit a little big and I found that they stretch out after a few washes, so I wish I had bought the size smaller.

Love my Danskins

I have quite a variety of leggings/shorts and Danskin is by far my favorite....they fit like they're tailor made. This is my first pair of shorts I'm 5'5" and the leg s.tops right where I like....the only 2 cons I have are that they don't come in more colors and I wish they had pockets.....definitely will purchase more. Btw I am a 59 yr old woman and lg so 2X fits me perfectly....I love to wear my leggings out with a nice long top and they hold up so well they don't loose their shape or color...I have no dried them in a dryer ….

Excellent very happy

They fit a bit bigger than I thought but I use as sleep shorts so they are great :) I normally like skin tight so might get a couple pairs down a size in the future to use as a shapewear under a skirt. Very comfortable andbreathable. Not seethrough so can be worn alone as well. I also wear these with the elastic band folded down because otherwise it would go up to my belly button. Again this wiuld work very well for shapewear though!

Buy them.

These are the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn, and I never wear shorts. They are a good length, not too short or too long, the fabric is soft, I'de recommend them to anyone.
