Thick tights, durable and is not running

These tights aren’t the cheapest, but worth the money. My daughter is not the gentlest on clothing. She uses this for dance, and they haven’t run or started pilling. We machine wash in a mesh bag and haven’t had any issues. They still look as good as new after 3-4 months.

Slightly too small in size.

Great tights. Well made. We bought the size MD. My daughter is right on the cusp of either wearing size 7 pants, or wearing 8. (either wearing medium or wearing large in tights). She is just turned 8 years old, she is 55 pounds, tall for her age, skinny, and the size medium was just slightly small. It pulled up all the way, but with absolutely no extra material at all. She hasn't worn them to her first Fall ballet class yet, but I think that once she starts doing kicks and moving around, she may find these to be too small. We are going with size Large next time, but sticking with Danskin. The "convertible" opening on the underside of the foot is very nice. It allows the tights to folds up, at the calf, as the picture shows.

I didnt notice the backseam reference! My daughters fellow dancers commented on it the first day she wore them. She is actually loving them. She's very slight and I think likes that they fit her so well. They seem very durable as well. That is key with these things they wear for hours on end, several days a week - lots of washing and wearing and several months later - they are holding up wonderfully!!

They are not Capezios, but they get the job done!

These are a lot cheaper than the Capezio mesh tights with backseams, but they are a different material. They do what we need them to do, but I would say they do not last as long/are not as durable as the Capezios. So, if you have the money to pay for them, and you want them to last as long as possible, go for the Capezios! But these are nice tights and they last longer than normal tights and certainly worth their price. We really do like these tights and have bought them more than once and will continue to buy them in the future because they are a good value. Hope that all makes sense!

They still look as good as new

I wasn't sure which tights to buy my daughter for her first dance class. I didn't want to spend a ton of tights but I wanted something that would last. My daughter has had these for awhile now and I wash them almost every week. They still look as good as new! I also like the hole in the bottom so she can wear them over her ankles if she wants to. I was worried she might complain that it was uncomfortable but it doesn't bother her at all. I would buy them again.

Perfect for ballet

These are my daughter's favorite tights for ballet. She is in classes 5 days a week and I appreciate that they are well made in a addition to be being comfortable.

Footless Tights Are In

These option foot in or out tights are the preference for my granddaughter. You can't go wrong with the quality of Danskin products. These tights fit as expected. They have a back seam, and they are the perfect color for any dance studio. My granddaughter leaves her feet out for ballet, but puts her feet in for tap and jazz class. They wash up nicely. Head over and buy a pair. Your little dancer will love them.
