Died - after 10 years!
I woke up this morning and heard NO WATERFALL in my fish pond! Checking everything it was clear the pump had died, this same model. I bought it in 2011. I knew it would not last forever...but it lasted longer than any other pump I've used in two different ponds, the first 1000 gallons and my current one 2500 gallons. I bought the same model to replace the one that died. Hopefully I will get at least 10 years out of this one, too! Great volume, with a head of about 6 feet, programmed to run 24x7 but with one-hour rests three times a day. Five stars.

Long term review….fantastic pump!
Update: 06/2021 I have had this pump now for 9 years and it’s been running my 1000 gallon pond waterfall 24/7 approximately 8 months each year. It hasn’t lost any of its velocity, it just keeps on going. I had a level switch that turns the pump off when the water level gets too low so the pump doesn’t run dry. We’ll that stopped working a few years ago and although the pump has never gone totally dry it has started sucking air a number of times but yet it keeps going. When this pump finally decides it’s time to quit you definitely know what I’ll be replacing it with…..another Danner pump! I've had this pump for a few months now and it has worked flawlessly. I use it in the skimming filter of a pond I built that's 9'X13' and approximately 1000 gallons. It's quiet and has a good strong flow. The previous pump I had was rated at 2500 GPH and the small water fall at the end of the pond was OK but after stepping up to this 3200 GPH pump it seems more like a natural water fall with good rushing water and the nice waterfall sound. One word of caution is the dimensions listed are off. The length of the unit is more like 12" instead of 9".

Works great for Pond/Waterfall
I purchased this pump to replace a 2400 GPH pondmaster that had died, to run for my backyard 500 gallon pond/waterfall, so far I've been happy with it, though in my situation, I would of liked the option of a better debris screen or an add-on optional filter, but overall it works as advertised, and it is able to pump water to the top of my waterfall :about 5' feet, with just enough flow "bout 2600gph" as not to cause to much agitation to my water lilys or frogs

Just barely makes warranty
You get what you pay for with Danner HY pumps. They all last the length of the warranty and that's that. My latest lasted 3 years and one month. This will be my fourth but with the rotor now costing 1/2 the purchase price of the pump it may be my last. It does a good job of moving water at an economical rate but the cage needs constant attention to keep it from clogging. If you need to move this much water you might think twice about moving upscale to something like the Evolution line.

Great pump
Have had Pondmaster pumps in multiple small ponds. A 2600 lasted 3 years. Went to the 3200 as is more economical to run. First one died within a week. Return through Amazon no problem. Replaced, current one in 3 months now even at temps of near zero degrees. Will buy again if needed.

best pump on the market
I buy about 60 of these per year. I own a pond service business and almost exclusively I install this pump. I also install their larger ones once in a while and they perform well. Do not buy the 1600 gph version. Unless they have resolved the impeller clogging problem. But after reviewing all the pumps on the market in the last ten years, this 3200 is the best pump on the market.

Pond pump
Bought this pump to replace the one we had. So far it is working good...not quite as strong as the one we had before, but strong enough to pump water up to make a 5 foot waterfall over the rocks

Great Water Fall Pond Pump
Easy to install and should last a long time. My last pump of this brand and size lasted 6 years of running 18 hours a day every day.
