It worked very well
You can remove it to clean the sink and clean it. It is not attached to the sink. The bottom has a attachment metal that bends easily And if someone has a lot of Congestion say then when you turn the water on it moves from force of water and washes congestion down the sink doesn't stop up the drain.

Thinner than I imagined it would be.
Was too small to fit my drain in the shower, my fault for estimating the size..would definitely measure next time lol. Very lightweight and bendable. Would be great for others who need that kinda type.

Wood Quality
Easy installation. But I should mention that this drain cover is not rigid enough to install as the main shower drain cover. In my case I was able to install it under the more rigid one which has larger holes which allows for more hair and stuff to go through. With the smaller holes on this one-mission accomplished.

Simple drain cover that works well
Not much to tell. This cover works well and used to be really cheap (serious price increase lately). The only complaint is that the little prongs on the bottom that hold the cover in place break off fairly easily. This was not too much of a problem when the price was significantly lower, but this does need to be replaced periodically due to the prongs breaking.

Best hair blocker
This is my second one and I love how easy they are to clean off. it catches all of the hair but water still drains away. You've got to keep an eye on the 2 metal prongs that hold it in the drain. taking it in and out of the drain bends them and they'll break off. No problem unless they go down the drain. You could probably get it out with a magnet but who wants to try.

It keeps the drain clear of hair
This drain cover does a good job of keeping hair out of the drain. It is pretty thin and although it is made so that a screw will go in the center, I had to drill it out so a screw would fit.

The metal does not hold its finish, which is why it was disappointing..
First, this product functions really well as a hair-catcher, although it rests awkwardly, not very neat and flat over the shower drain, so maybe if your wiggle around with the underside long enough, it might get flat, or maybe its better to leave it flat, as is; it probably will work fairly well. The biggest disappointment was that its shiny aluminium-like surface became totally discolored and had an almost-black rubbed-off look in some parts of the drain cover within 3 Showers!!! I recall that this product used to be sold at the Home Depot, where I've got it in the past, a while back though, so who knows if theirs holds up better.. But the one I received looks like a piece of garbage now!! barely worth 25 cents, in 3 Showers with its coating rubbed off in places already?? How'd that happen with just normal municipal shower water and normal shower gel and shampoo type products falling on it?? In the 21st Century if we can't sell to a consumer a shower drain hair-catcher that has a reliable aluminium coating that holds its surface texture and appearance for at least a few years, then What The HELL kind of progress have we invented?? Its pretty pathetic - I want things to look neat & clean inside one's residence and this is where this product falls short - its manufacturer has cut corners by using a PATHETIC coating process which does not adhere to its surface from even initial usage, much less therefore through wear and tear. The one I had previously from Home Depot a couple of years ago, seems to have held better in appearance, but I thought that looked oldish, so I chucked it out. So Someone needs to change the process and improve the lasting quality of the appearance of this product, which in fact is highly functional. This used to be sold at $1.99 when I bought it at Home Depot last, prices shouldn't go up double while quality goes down this much!!

Not the best but works
We wanted something that laid over the drain instead of caving in the drain. We have a lot of human hair and dog hair to catch and I hate digging out a caved strainer. The silicone ones did work for a while until we saw it was growing mold on the bottom. For some reason our drain does not have that middle screw hole so we couldn’t get a real drain cover. This one does work but the things on the back of this drain cover is suppose to hold it in place. It’s like those metal things on the big yellow envelope to close the flap. It’s kinda flimsy, like it can be easily bent back and forth if cleaning or moving it.
