Buy the delta RP3614 kit.
All these 2 piece ball seal kits are going to fight you. Buy the delta RP3614 kit. It's only 50 cents more. But when you put the faucet back together without fighting you'll know exactly where that extra money went.

40 minute repair
I undertook this job because our kitchen faucet was dripping. Once I turned off the water under the sink, I removed the faucet and the other hardware (check YouTube for a video), cleaned up everything chrome, reassembled with O-rings, springs, and bushings from this kit, and turned the water back on. 3 things: 1.) this kit doesn't come with a new ball fitting. In my opinion you don't have to replace this, just clean it. Another kit available on Amazon does include a replacement ball if you want to go that way, but that kit is a bit more expensive. 2.) This kit contains parts for different kinds of Delta faucets. Therefore the O-rings come in two thicknesses, there are two sizes for the springs, and only one of the nylon compression caps will fit the groove in your faucet. Just use the old parts as a model for which ones you need from this kit of new parts. 3. You will need three tools: a medium screwdriver to help you position the new springs; channel locks or similar to help you unscrew the chrome compression knob (and maybe to turn off your water under the sink); and an Allen wrench to get the handle off and tighten it when you put it back on. The kit contains the Allen Wrench. Overall, this is a good kit that did the trick. No more drips in our kitchen sink. I think most people can do this job. PS. I didn't have any faucet grease on hand, so bought a small tube to go with this purchase in order to lubricate threads. I think this made the job go just a little bit smoother.

Almost a great fit :(
This kit is fine except that the washer that goes on top of the ball valve is too elevated and makes it impossible to screw the faucet back on. I had to reuse the old washer, which luckily was still ok.

After 6 years finally fixed it
My faucet would leak from the handle base when I turned on the water. When you turned it off if you positioned the handle right it would not leak. Finally after 6 years like that it started dripping. So I broke the bank. Got the kit but darn. The ball needed to be replaced that was the problem. So I ended up buying the kit with the ball as well. So I have some extra parts for 6 years from now.

NOT A PERFECT FIT - spend the extra $5 for genuine Delta parts
Not great quality. For $5 more you should buy the genuine Delta RP3614 kit. - As others have mentioned, the springs are slightly longer than the originals - re-use the originals or the valve will be too tight when reassembled. - Also, the fatter o-rings for the kitchen spout (replaces Delta RP25) are slightly thinner - mine leaked very slightly. - Cheap hex wrench (silver is Danco, black is Delta in photo): may need to be filed a bit to fit. Also, the hex screw on my handle had seized and the Danco hex wrench twisted while trying to loosen it. - Others have complained that the Danco parts don't last as long - I will f/u in a year. BTW, Delta RP77738 (Danco 86970) and Delta RP36147 kits will also work (they include the ball). Tips on replacement: -Remove the aerator before turning off the shut-off valves to keep it from getting clogged. -Close the drain or stuff a rag into it to keep from losing parts. -Use a rag on your channel locks to keep from marring. -Clean debris from the inside of the valve and the ball. To remove mineral deposits use vinegar or GENTLE scraping. -If Danco springs too long, reuse originals. -Replace all the rubber components, even if they're not leaking. -If replacing o-rings on kitchen spout, apply a little silicone grease. -You can adjust the tightness of the valve at the top using the prongs on the other end of the hex tool. -Before reinstalling aerator run hot and cold to flush any crud.

Her Favorite son
Mom had a leaky faucet, with this kit it was repaired within 15 minuets. At least today I'm the favorite son. It had a few extra parts but being that I did not know before what the exact model was this was a good thing. It does not come with instructions but a couple of u-tube videos later my memory of how to work in these came back.

Good value but low quality
The product seems to work overall but the quality seems to have suffered over the years. The hex wrench was useless as it twisted and came off the handle due to poor build quality.

Good product
Seems to be product and the piece that I used seems to function well so far. The drip it was purchased to deal with has stopped.

Nice Repair Kit
So glad Amazon sells this kit. Found it a bit difficult locating it elsewhere. Took a bit of work to get it installed correctly. You have to be very careful how much you tighten at the finish. Works great.

Good for the price
The product seems fine but one issue I have is with the delivery. The part came in a pillow pack envelope and someone had cut it open before it arrived (see photo). I am assuming once they saw what it was they returned it to the package and delivered it. I wonder what they would have done if it was something they wanted.
