Great compression short

Great shorts. They provide the requested compression, but are comfortable and don't ride up. I own at 5 of them. When they wear out I will get more.

seem like nice shorts

seem like nice shorts. compression is good and I have only worn them once but they seem to stay in place well. I was a bit worried about the somewhat thick seems around the bottom of the legs but soon did not notice them that much and they seem to do a good job of keeping the legs from rideing up. They seem to be sewn well and I did not see any sign of the seems pulling when I put them on as I have with some. I bought the size I usually by and it seemed like most I have had like Nike procombat. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because I would like a bit more of a pouch or something for the male anatomy. I like compression for working out but somethings don't need so much. though I will say by the time I was done things seem to have setteled into place and not too uncomfortable.

I do like the back support

Use it for running. Medium seems a bit long, but I figure it is due to the ab/low back support design. I do like the back support. Shorts are not thin material. There is some bulk to these, unlike the very thin spandex type comp shorts that are common. I was trying to find a pair of compression type shorts that didn't have a seam line that would rub my inner groin area raw. These were an improvement over what I have but not a complete solution. Less rub, but still there. Vasoline helps minimize but still gets rubbed raw on runs greater than 4 miles. They do what the say they do and they do it well. They are not marketed to prevent chaffing in the groin so I can't fault them for not meeting my dreams...haha.

CW-X a must have for runners

These are my newest addition to my collection of CW-X products. I have 3 shorts and 1 tight. I think the shorts are great because they keep your stuff from moving at all. I have big thighs and the support they give is temendous both in the thigh region and the front and back areas. The new ventilator shorts have a mesh patch in the for getting more air to the legs (besides it looks cool) and that seems to be the only difference. Once you try these stabilix shorts you will never want to run in anything else. I've thrown away all other shorts - because these simply are the best invention since cushioned running shoes! Don't be fooled by the imitators with rubber straps or other sewed in materials (my running friends were sorely disappointed with them). Buy the best...buy CW-X. By the way, I do about 25 miles a week as a masters runner so I like to comment on what works.

Use for running or recovery from a run.

Ordered this to help with my running but also as a possible recovery too also. Wore it after a half marathon run Friday to sleep, help with recover and my legs felt really good the next day. Wore them today on a half marathon run and my legs felt better than wearing regular non-compression running shorts. As for sizing I am 5'6 and used the chart on their website, and went with a medium as I have large quads, and it fits well, not too tight and by no means feels lose, fit is as good as it gets without being tailored for my build.

Impeccable!

I read the reviews of what others have said. And Decided to buy these, since I had this in my wishlist for awhile. As soon as I first tried them on and went for a run, I IMMEDIATELY felt the support! Especially in my hips, hams and quads. From there on out it was smooth sailing, and my recovery time is also improved. Another thing that had me concerned was when someone on here said that they lose compression when you wash them. What I do to keep the compression and the unit clean, is that I handwash them in the sink with some detergent and let it soak for a bit and then wring it out to dry and hang it up to line dry! Hope this review helps you all get a little bit for more life out of your CW-X shorts!

Love these! I am a woman but bought the men's version as they seemed to fit better and were more comfortable to me. I have the stabilyx 3/4 women's pants as well - love those- but the women's shorts just felt 'off' to me- I don't know exactly how to describe it. The compression on these is great, and the support for my hips and hamstrings is perfect! These were my choice for my first marathon and they worked out perfectly!

Just what you might expect

These are decent compression shorts; while the material feels nicer than less expensive shorts (ie. Under Armour, Nike Pro, the like), they don't seem to be anything special. The "ventilation" on the upper thigh really doesn't seem to make much difference for me, which was mildly disappointing in a novel, insignificant way (shouldn't holes in the shorts help dissipate heat?!). Fit is great, and is tight enough to fit a fairly wide range of waists and simultaneously provide good support. Even while rowing, the seams on the rear side don't cause any trouble. On the whole, a solid purchase, and they have stood up to a good bit of use and washing!

Un essentiel pour mes genoux

J’aime vraiment ces shorts, c’est ma deuxième paire. Ils sont vraiment durables, j’ai probablement courue environs 1000km en trois ans et ils ont protégé mes genoux sur toute les distances.
