Guarnizione O-ring. Sistema di chiusura a doppia mandata. Ruote con cuscinetti in acciaio inox. Maniglia di estensione retrattile. Costruzione a tenuta stagna, indeformabile e antipolvere. Protezioni lucchetto rinforzate in acciaio inox. VOLUME: 1,55 piedi³ (0,044 m³).

Why didn't I do this sooner?
I bought this with the 1569 lid organizer for photo gear. Why didn't I buy this case sooner? This is a fantastic way to store gear where you know once its there its safe. I'm not sure I could actually get it to go carry on (it's not sized for that), but its not that far off. Also full of gear mine is really heavy so I'm not sure putting it in the overhead is a good idea anyway. Though I'm not planning to flying with it, maybe a gate check with TSA locks. After receiving this and putting it into action without a doubt go with padded dividers if you want to reuse it in the future. I think foam is good if you have a fixed piece of equipment and you don't plan on changing it out in the future. My photo gear gets replace periodically and this way I can just reconfigure the dividers. The foam would most likely offer more overall protection, but you sacrifice being able to reconfigure it over time and will loose some space just because of the way foam cutouts work. The 1569 Lid organizer is also a must. Simply fantastic and makes the 1560 with padded dividers great. The 1569 lid organizer screws in with provided screws into screw holes already in place. Well done Pelican! If you go with the divider and you plan on travel with this, you'll probably want to put a piece of foam between the gear and the lid organizer. (I'm thinking a towel, since that also has photo uses). But still overall great. Finally one thing to note, I've read all kinds of reviews on moisture in air tight containers that sit closed for long periods of time. Most of them talk about safes where the paper actually degrades fairly fast due to air moisture. Not sure why that would actually happen, but for a little extra I also added in a silica gel descant into my case to help remove any moisture I introduce into it. This case has two latches that close securely but if I were wheeling it around I would consider putting at least one lock or some device into one of the two locking holes just to make sure it didn't accidentally get unlatched and open up. For air travel it has two lock holes near each latch. So you'll need two locks if you want to secure it.

Best luggage
I use a few Pelican cases for luggage, yup thats right, just for luggage. A 1560 can fit about a weeks worth of clothes for me, and if I’m going on a longer trip, I daisy chain these with a Large S Biner from Nite Ize and pull them around the airport like a little train. Never have to buy a suitcase again and its perfect to sit on if theres a wait at the counters.

my new travel case
first, i love DT color, black is fine but everyone has a black case so the DT is perfect for finding your stuff easy and smooth. I got the 1610 as well as the 1510, too big or to small, the 1560 is perfect for a couple of days, three to five i would say depending on location and of course the time of year ( thicker clothing needs more space right ;) )! i took the foam complete out, think about a Lid Organizer though ( after i bought one for my 1510 which works great !) and traveled recently with the case to Kobe ( Japan but as i live in Japan it is not tooo far !), my stuff, from the cloth i brought to the souvenirs i bought , space enough even for the free slipper from my hotel when i checked out and i have to admit i pack a lot of gear ( usually for 3/5 days every day underwear / socks/T-shirts to 2/ 3 pairs of slacks , 2 jackets, shirts, some warmer clothing even a shermagh found it way in it and of course toiletries , in various airtight bags ( compression ones ), some maps, extra sunglasses a Maxpedition Pocket Org. as well as an 1020 Pelican Case for my Kodak Sport ! Still enough space, easy to handle for me ( the Hotel Staff had some trouble though :D !) , rolls very smooth and the Handles feel strong and reliable ! The Pull out handle is a bit flimsy , also i attached paracord around it to make the grip a bit thicker but that is a personal choice the latches lock fine and there is not much movement in the Lid when you close it, no twisting like i have exp. with my 1610 ! what else ? The perfect size for me, tough of course, you will stand out of the crowd but that is no problem here in Japan ( for my travel abroad i guess i gonna buy a BK version as well ;) !)

HEAVY duty!
When our sweet church family gave us a monetary going-away gift, I ordered 2 of these to try to corral our ever expanding photography equipment. The cases are very heavy-duty (with the emphasis on HEAVY) and feels as if they could take the abuse from the proverbial 'gorilla'! (for those of you who are old enough to remember the American Tourister ads of the 70's, you understand...if you aren't, you can see them on YouTube :-) However, they ARE very, very heavy, so I don't think I would use them as a carry on (and they might not even fit in the overhead compartments, even if you were strong enough to lift them, fully loaded, up there). But, for what we wanted, they are perfect. We have 2 dslrs, assorted lenses, speed lights, filters, batteries, and all the assorted 'little junk' that goes along with it--in each case. As we were leaving the Northeast for the Southeast, I also purchased some desicant packs to go in them to protect our equipment from the humidity. So far, so good. The padding seems quite adequate, and we ordered the attachable lid organizers from B&H camera to go with them. I feel that our stuff is as protected as we can possibly make it and I am very satisfied. As far durability of handle, wheels, etc., I won't be able to speak, as we basically use ours to store our stuff in and protect it when we travel. It would be quite bulky to carry one along on a shoot, but I suspect that I may do that with some of the senior portrait shoots in outside settings where I have to trek thru weeds, over rocks, and wade through all sorts of underbrush to get to my desired locations. I have no doubt that these cases can take it, tho. I seriously doubt that I'll wear them out in my lifetime!

FANTASTIC CASE- its peli what else do you expect ?
I use this case as a tool box and I have no complaints took the foam out as it would get wrecked in about two days with my line of work. use it as an ultra tough toolbox and meets all my expectations. constantly in and out of vans / trucks with nothing more than the occasional scrape.

Pelican for the win
I've been patronizing Pelican for decades since I discovered them to protect my diving equipment. Then I used them for my photography and gun equipment. Then i used these for about anything when traveling. These are the best built hard case you can get without question in terms of performance and durability. This latest case was purchased to house the Ikan teleprompter which Ikan was selling their own branded hard case, but I opted to trust Pelican once again. The dimensions were similar and the teleprompter case was a drop in to this Pelican case. There was a bit more room for this, but it also allows me to house the iPad purchased for the teleprompter as well as manual and charging accessories. Highly recommended. I wouldn't go for any other brand.

Good... price could have been better
The case is awesome.... it cost me about 49k... it came with padded dividers but without a lid organizer. I then saw another seller on amazon selling the same case with a lid organizer for 53 k... The lid organizer costs about 10 to 12 k when bought separately.... I feel like I lost on a good deal. But the case is good, seller was always prompt with responses everytime I contacted them.

Recomendado.
