Works well for older cats too

I went through another bed (Alpha pooch cat den) before buying that one and as of now, I'm not deceived! My 11 year old cat was not going in the den anymore and he'd started to sleep everywhere and nowhere. I think we finally found the right pad for him. I had to lie him down on it because he wouldn't go on it in the first place but now I always find him lying on it. Product looks sturdy, comfortable for my pet (16 pounds) and the foam seems to be of great quality. Cat already started to sharpen his claws on it (though he has a cat tree) so we will see how long it lasts. Advertised as sage green and grey but is more a sage green and blue/grey color so it doesn't look bad at all. Cat loves it, that's all I was asking for.

Nice for the price

This is working very well. It is described as 2" thick. The pad with the cover is 2" but the actual pad is more like an 1 1/2". The pad does fluff back up to it's original shape but it is lighter in weight than most 100% memory foam pads I've seen so I think it is a mix possibly. Still it does the job and for the cost it isn't bad. I actually purchased it as a cushion for my desk chair and it's the perfect size plus the cover has a non-skid bottom which keeps it from sliding around. My cat loves it too so we're sharing it at the moment until I get her one for herself.

Expect a little extra preparation in advance

I was expecting a thicker oath bed. It was small to say the least (My senior dog weighs 55 lbs). I did purchase an additional memory foam mattress topper at Wal-mart (twin size). I cut the topper to the dimensions of the Armarkat foam, and it fit inside the waterproof liner perfect. Now I have the type of ortho-bed I was looking for. Just had to use a little ingenuity and some planning to get what I wanted. The cost of this bed was budget-friendly (compared to Petco) so even though I had to purchase the additional mattress from Wal-Mart, I still came out less expense than buying this bed at Petco.

Nice

I would have rated this four stars if the zipper didn't break off.... :( I love what the bed is made out of and it fits perfectly in my dogs crate, but again... the zipper broke. I still use the bed, but I have to leave it unzipped now. I'm pretty disappointed about that. I got this bed because one of my dogs currently has a bed wetting problem. This one has a very easy clean up because it is water proof, and I can just throw the cloth in the washer. Do I think it is worth it? Sure... just be very careful with zipping and unzipping the cloth!

These are funny! They came vacuum sealed and needed time to inflate. They are very hard. I sat on one and slowly started to sink but not much! My chihuahuas basically float on them because they aren't heavy enough to make a dent! They seem comfortable on them though with a few toasty blankets. They sleep well and like to be in their beds. I figured with an older dog pictured it would be very soft.

Good bed but NOT SAGE GREEN as shown

Good quality bed and cover but note: SAGE GREEN IS NOT GREEN, it is just gray. It does not at all look like what the picture shows for sage green. Instead, it is a medium gray around the sides and a light gray on top. I would return it but the bed itself is very sturdy and good quality.

Love it!

At 5 months my puppy needed surgery on her shoulder and needed to be crated for 8 solid weeks. I bought this bed hoping it would be enough support for her to be comfortable. I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality and thickness I bought a second one for her crate at work. Some other reviews I read said it was loud? There is a waterproof liner that sounds almost like a down comforter. We no longer need the crate but now our dog has to share her bed with my kids. It is REALLY comfortable! Also FYI, I have washed the covers and it fit back on perfectly.

Very flimsy construction. The zipper broke in one week. The part of the insert that days waterproofed did not look very reliable. I bought for my puppy and beside that foam thickness is good everything else in it is far from par. I wanted to return but after zipper broke my puppy decided to chew insides rendering the pad unreturnable.

Happy puppy

I bought this memory foam mat to put in my puppy's crate. He is 6 months old and ready for some good and comfortable support as he reaches his full weight of 70 pounds. He immediately went into his crate to try it out and seems very happy with it. I have not washed the cover yet.

This bed was very hard. Since it was made of memory foam I thought it would be soft. Not happy.

Cover is somewhat disappointing in its unsubstantial nature. I had to remove the noisy waterproof liner, as no dog would accept that. The foam itself is more board-like than I would have wanted, odor-free however. The bed is used on a daily basis for daytime lounging, so the price was right and shipment satifying quick.
