These work perfectly to turn your pizza as it cooks and they are easy to use.

These are perfect for turning the pizza and they are easy to use! I definitely would recommend these when you’re cooking a pizza!

Useful Pizza Turning Tool

I use a high temperature outdoor pizza oven. Due to the high heat and the location of the heat source, I need to turn the pizza while it cooks without burning my fingers. This works and has a nice long handle allowing you to turn the pizza without having to either pull the pizza out of the oven, or worse putting your hand inside the oven. The issues are the two tongs on the end are pointed and sharp, so caution is needed to avoid puncturing your fingers. If you're not careful, it can also tear the pizza if the pizza is stuck to the stone it is baking on. With the cautions, it is a high-quality item as you would expect from Cuisinart.

Great for Ooni users

I have an Ooni 3. I use a wood peel to lanch pizzas into the oven and and the Ooni metal (a thin sheet of aluminum) to retrieve pies. Before I would put the Ooni metal peel under the pie, pull the pie out of the oven rotate the pie and then push the back in with the metal peel. It is essential to rotate pizzas when cooking in an Ooni 3, Koda, Fyra and similar Ooni ovens because the tempature in the oven is not uniform and is much hotter in the back of the oven near the wood or gas burner. Now I use the metal peel to break the tension (unstick) the pizza from the hot stone about 35 seconds into the cook. Once this is done I start turning with the Cuisinart CPS-022 Alfrescamore Pizza Spinners and finally retrieve the pie with the Ooni metal peel. I thougth about getting an Ooni or Rockbox Truning peel, but at prices between $60 to $70.00 that felt very excessive bordering on highway robbery. If Lodge can sell and 15 pound cast iron pan for under $20.00 how can Ooni justify $70.00 for a 3-pound turning peel. The Cuisinart pizza spinners do the same job, for one-sixth of the price. I have not had any issues with damaging the cornice of the crust. I recommend this product.

Make your pizza oven easier to use with these!

I have a great pizza oven and the "Peel" for inserting as well as turning. Friend told me about these to use instead of the peel for turning...WOW so much better! simple, long handles, easy to get in and hook the crust and turn it in my Ooni.....totally worth it!

They do the job

I am happy with the purchase. The spinners are easy to use and easy to clean. The points are REALLY sharp so you need to be careful with handling and storing them.

Good pizza turner

These pizza hooks work well. You can turn the pizza quickly in the oven without having to take it out with a peel, or using a traditional pizza turner. You lose less heat that way and have good control using the two hooks. You just have to be sure to grab part of the crust that’s already cooked and not doughy, which is usually to the back of a wood fired oven for at least the first turn. Fortunately Thea hooks are long enough for that.

Great for Ooni

I ordered these after I received a pizza oven. These are perfect for spinning the pizza without having to take it all the way out of the oven and putting it back in with a pizza peel. These work great. Great price.

Wish I had invented these.

If you're the owner of one of the many portable outdoor pizza ovens...these things are boss. We own an OONI 3 pizza oven. We generally make anywhere from two to ten 12" pizzas. I can't tell you how many times, while turning with a peel...the pizza needed a little coaxing, and I would pinch the edge and give it a spin with my fingers. Needless to say....the pizza is HOT!!! My fingers are just about done after a session of pizza making. Now, with these spinners...I don't even lift the pizza...just reach in with these stainless steel arms...and lightly grasp the pizza on the edge...and give it a spin. Like metal chop sticks. Now, I am more attentive to the pizza...and turn it to the precise orientation I am looking for without burning my fingers. Love this tool. Wish I had thought of it earlier.

Super tools for turning pizza without burning yourself, particularly in a Uuni but in any oven or BBQ. Good length and nice firm rubber handles. Plus loops to hook onto your BBQ trolley. Perfect. 100% recommend.
