Stands up to big messes!!
First of all, my Boxer LOVES this bed!! It's very easy to assemble and comfortable for even large dogs like mine. It also can withstand BIG messes. My dog got into something he shouldn't have, and had a major "blow out" in the middle of the night. I was able to easily spray the solids off the microfiber cover, and the liquid did not get to the pad -- the inner lining caught it. I was able to easily wash the cover and lining -- no smell, no stain. This bed is AWESOME!!

Time to draw the line and find something else
First the good - the customer service for this company is amazing. I've had only good experiences with them and they've gone above and beyond to try to help me, replacing my damaged beds/ covers. Ultimately, though, this bed is just not for me. I've gone through 2 beds plus an extra cover in 8 months. The last cover replacement only lasted about a month. The bed itself is ok - it seems comfy enough and supportive for my 11 month old Great Dane, but it just hasn't been able to stand up to her. (The first bed lasted awhile - the waterproofing failed (see below), but otherwise we got by, basically until she grew into it enough to be destructive. She is really not especially destructive, but if she finds a flaw she will work it until she gets all the way to the memory foam. A few issues I've had: 1 -waterproof liner is no longer waterproof after a wash (cold water + air dry). I'm also pretty sure it leaks at the zipper. 2 - the seam between the main bed and the edge is a weak spot. I've had 2 covers fail there. 3 - once the dog gets through the main cover, it's over. The waterproof liner is not tough at all. 4 - the thing is a huge pain in the butt to put together. It would be worth it if everything else worked as it should, but, as it stands there are just too many pieces. Especially the upper edge part, that thing is the bane of my existence! Ultimately, great customer service, great concept, but so so results with the bed. I feel like I could email them and get yet another replacement, but at what point do you draw the line and try something else?!

Happy with the purchase!
I was very worried at first when I saw I had to stuff the pieces into not one, but TWO cases. However, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Everything slid easily into their cases/liners and I didn’t have to fight with them at ALL. Our dog has been using it for a month or so now and there has been no appreciable compression of the foam. Will update if we notice any later on. Update: Dec 2019–we’ve seen zero compression with our 30ish lb dog and the outer shell spot cleans nicely (even with peanut butter smears). However this bed is NOT water/pee proof. Our dog was on some meds which made him drink & pee more. He peed at some point and I didn’t discover it for hours later. Not all the pee soaked in, in fact I still had to pour a small puddle off the top. But ALL layers of the bed down to the memory foam were wet and smelled strongly of urine. I washed and dried the outer cover per directions, and against directions, hand washed the inner liner and air dried. Both laundered wonderfully. The memory foam layer I sprayed liberally with Nature’s Miracle enzyme spray and let dry. There were a few areas that still had a faint smell so I sprayed again. Once dry there was no urine odor. So I put it all back together and the pooch is snoozing as I type. I did slip two disposable pee pads between the outer and inner covers this time as some additional insurance against any future accidents. So, I’m still very happy with our purchase and pleased with the outcome after the pee flood this morning. But if you have a dog with frequent accidents this might not be for you.

Replacement/ not water proof/ chewed up
Edit: I have changed this to a 4 star due to the company and how quickly they replaced the bed. They did tell me that the bed isn’t meant to be chew proof.. But, they did replace it and so far so good on the new one. I’m putting this as a 3. At least for now. We have had it a few months. We have a chewer, kind of she has never chewed a bed before though. She destroyed it. Actually. She peed on it, where it soaked through to the foam, ugh (not water proof, she peed on the top part and the ENTIRE thing was soaked through). Then when we got the foam/plastic thing clean ish , put that back. While waiting the rest to wash. Destroyed. Cannot find how to contact them where it says they will replace or make it right.

Some assembly required.
I just got two of these beds (35x22) and (40x27) for my dogs' crates. After unpacking and giving the foam pads a couple of hours to expand I was able to assemble them fairly easily. I don't know if I misread the description, but I assumed they'd be ready to use. Each bed comes with the main piece of foam which is maybe two inches thick and two pieces of foam for the bolsters. They first get zipped into a water resistant cover (one for the mat and one for the bolsters.) These, in turn, get zipped into the plush cover which should be washable. I've had other beds where the foam wasn't protected like this and I think this will be an improvement. The fit in the cover is snug and my foam pads bumped up in the middle until the first use after which they are flat and the girls seem comfortable on them. I think these are going to be good for a while. They would probably not have held up during the puppy chewing phase, but they seem fairly tough.

Quality company!
This is the second one that I purchased. First, I want to praise the customer service that this company has. The first mat I purchased was for my 3 year old German Sheprador, this one was for a 9 month old German Sheprador going through crate training. Everything was perfect for the first 3 weeks, then one day I came home to a completely destroyed mat. These are definitely chew resistant for a little bit of nibbling, but if a dog wants to destroy something they will. I emailed customer service and they shipped out a replacement right away! So far so good with the new one. Ever since I put these in their crates, they prefer to sleep in there instead of their other beds when they have free roam of the house. I have also purchased other products from this company and really love their cat scratchers!

Not indestructible- disappointing
I did a lot of research before choosing this crate liner as anything with piping, a label or an exposed zip our Staffie puppy will chew & destroy. So when it arrived I was very pleased with the smooth finish - nothing to chew....I thought. As you can see he found something to start on & continued through to the filling. It lasted 3 weeks. I now don’t know what to buy nxt.... shame as cleaning was very easy, just popping the cover in the washing machine. Update: after contacting PetFusion & discussing their product, their excellent customer service team have sent a replacement liner Fingers crossed it’s the last one for a while.! I have removed all visible labels....let’s give it half a chance ;)

comfortable but.....
this fitted the crate perfectly and was comfortable but he did a wee and it went straight through to the foam through the cover so wasn't waterproof which was a shame

So far so good
Good so far. Puppy seems comfortable on her bed. And she is nearly 6 months and likes to chew on everything in sight but still hasn’t managed to tear it to shreads. Fits perfectly in her crate and so far I’m very happy with it.

Not as tough as described
My dog got into this bed within 3 weeks of having it. Not as tough and durable as described. Extremely disappointed in this product I have since been in touch with the company to express my concerns and they have assured me that they will send me a replacement cover.

Excellent customer service
Recently purchased this product because of the offer that if our dogs chew it then we will get a replacement. I have 3 British Bulldogs and every bed they have had they chew. They don’t chew anything else at all. After the first night I got up to foam all over the kitchen. I emailed the company and true to their word I got a replacement delivered the very next day. We have put this straight down for the dogs and they must think they have already destroyed it as they sleep on it now and it’s still in 1 piece. Excellent customer service would highly recommend
